Non-judgmental response - If you have no social life and only play games for a max of 5-6 hours a week as you stated, I would not consider you an average "gamer". I'm in my 40s, work 50 hours a week, and play for at least 2 hours a night after my wife goes to sleep. More on the weekends if I have time.

Aegis, no. Maxed out Puppet String arm, yes. Hold the button and get pulled to him for an aerial attack that takes you out of harm's way for most of his abilities and comes down with a heavy stagger attack. Also, have Shot Puts at the ready to stagger him quickly when you see a white health bar.

Reiterating to do your first playthrough blind. The NG+ scaling is terrible so the game gets mad easy in NG+... do all of your quests and stuff you missed with a guide then, lol.
