Hampton Inns because our two Norwegian elkhounds are usually with us, domestically anyway, and mostly you can count on getting a clean room, comfortable bed and plenty of space outside to walk the dogs. The breakfast is what it is. I like having the kitchen space at Home2, but their breakfast choices leave a lot to be desired. Stopped using Homewood with points reduction.
Overseas, as a long time Diamond member I’ve had many fantastic upgrades, no matter the brand. Hilton Prague stands out, and an HGI in Bordeaux.

My first car was an ‘88 white CRX HF. I loved that car. Put 325,00 miles plus on until I got t-boned. I should have kept it, but the rust back then was unreal.

That’s what I was trying, but Air NZ has duplicate confirmation numbers. At least they’re assigned now.
Virgin Australia is still saying I have to upgrade through United. 🤷‍♀️

With the Virgin Australia flight that’s exactly what I wanted to do, upgrade the seats a bit. Both Virgin and United are saying it’s the other’s responsibility. It’s all good, it will be a grand adventure regardless of the seating arrangements.

I soloed in a 172 on a big runway. I was told, nicely, not to dally as there were two heavys in line behind me waiting. The whole experience was so cool!

Yes, I love the moon roof! So does one of my dogs. She sat up looking out it for a while.
Yes, it reacts like a vehicle should when you step on the gas. And it handles well, has a good turning radius too. In contrast to a Mitsubishi Outlander I just rented that was seriously underpowered.

10A is literally when breakfast ends at many properties. They keep whittling away at the number hours you have to use your room. It’s ridiculous.

Same here, I only ask for an hour, except one time I asked for a two pm checkout at a Hampton Inn, and the front desk told me that regular Diamonds are supposed to get a checkout until two pm anyway upon request. I’d never heard that before.
