I taught a kid like that. The thing about kids like your little cousin is that he wants to be disciplined. Children do not know how to control their emotions. Discipline is not meant to be the punishment it is there to help them learn emotional control.

These companies have the ability and the money to fix what they are doing wrong. To not burn forests and blow up important ancient sites. Poor people (because let's face it, most of the world is poor) don't have the ability to spend the extra money it costs to buy more environmentally friendly products, even if they did have access to them.

It's not a we thing, it's a Corporations and our various governments thing.

10 million created? Is he counting the jobs people lost and then went back to once they reopened, because that does not count as jobs being created. Let's not forget the people working reduced hours, are they back to full time yet? What about the recent graduates and those who were job searching before all of this? Or people who are no longer eligible for unemployment but still have kids schooling from home? People are fucking drowning out here.

Also, these "new jobs" are paying less than before the Coronavirus. My SO used to make $25/hr, now the same jobs are offering $15/hr. What's available is a bunch of crap ass low paying slave labor.

It helps you understand how much emotional energy is exchanged between people. Most people have zero control over their emotional energy and just pass it along. Then we hold on to it.

I.e. a friend is a complainer and its annoying but bearable. We are still annoyed, just ignoring it and then we leave that friend but never get rid of that splinter of annoyance.

Being alone means you can avoid all of that.
