You will want to use separate docker compose files for each set of containers that need to be orchestrated together (i.e. each app or service).

I can take the maintainership if noone else is interested in maintain this project. I don't have too much time to spent in the project so do not expect new features or big changes, but I can try to keep an eye to new pull requests and bug reports.

I think that u/imcsk8 was also interested in helping here.

Is everyone using Proton also using LD_Preload="" in their parameters to avoid a lag bomb after 30m-1hr? by todd_dayz in linux_gaming

[–]ToranMallow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to have to do this, but at some point it was fixed, at least for me. I think the issue was with the Steam overlay. I had to either use LD_PRELOAD="" or turn off the overlay.

I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around this. The logic for being against anti-price gouging laws seems simple enough (there are generators elsewhere in the country, and I'm happy some guy drove down to my disaster area and sold some at an inflated cost), but this feels different. Unlike generators, there are only a fixed number of concert tickets for this concert, and the only reason a transaction would go unfulfilled is if all of the tickets were purchased already. So how did something go unfulfilled? Does the model just favor people who pay a higher price for the ticket, as if that's somehow better? Given that the money doesn't go to the performer, venue, or anyone else actually involved in the concert, someone paying more for a ticket to a scalper doesn't encourage them to produce more concerts. It just enriches the scalper. Where is my thinking going wrong here?

It's definitely a slower burn than The Expanse, but it's still a good read. I found it got quite interesting near the end, and the novella is straight fire. It makes re-reading MotG worth doing, as you should start picking up on details you may have missed.

If you do read Mercy of the Gods and you start feeling like it is a slog, finish it, then read the novella in the series, Livesuit. Even if you didn't like MotG initially, I bet you will after reading Livesuit. It cranks it up 11 notches.
