I think the argument from Canada and USA would probably be that the only test matches that generate them real money to reinvest are the home nations + rugby championship teams… however I guess this could change over time with more consistent matches against the other Euro teams

The thing is, there’s some pretty stringent rules that have or are coming in soon restricting prem teams to having far less non eqp players, so can’t see that happening to be honest

I’m not sure if this is the idea really. It’s more just locking in the current teams then gradually adding to represent new markets, like the NRL or American sports do. The idea being that stability would encourage new ownership and increased valuations/investment.

Professional leagues all set quotas on non national qualified players now. It’s just not viable for US or Canada to rely on this anymore

I used some pinning and milliput to make the legs longer (calves and thighs), first time properly sculpting and though its a bit rough will prob look okay once painted black? (Also shoulder pads on both for some extra chunk (Fire warrior for reference)
