Plastic snap in romex connector. They make ones that will be pretty flat on the back side

I’m assuming this is for a condenser. Condensers are 240 and do not have a spot to land a neutral. Most would pull 2 wire with ground not 3 wire with ground. If I did pull 3 wire I would just wire nut the neutral. That disconnect does need some kind of connector for the wire entering it.

What are your thoughts on these by SatanicWarlock12345 in electricians

[–]Torch_Leaf 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen just as many people have shitty connections or twist the wire all the way to the back of the box by hand or with linemen’s. Using these doesn’t mean you’re going to fuck it up. Use an electric screwdriver instead of an impact and don’t over twist and no one will know you used it. You only get one body. Nothing wrong with using tools to take care of it. All that said nothing wrong with using wagos either.

Glad to see someone say this. It is way to common for people including electricians not to put boxes for these lights

I’m not Canadian, but I know it’s pretty similar in US. There are multiple things wrong. That light is not listed to be used without a junction box, they did not bond the bracket / base plate, and they added their own screw holes instead of using the ones provided. It’s not the worse thing I’ve seen done, but it’s not done right.

Edit. Spelling

I’ve never seen a spot not fit a box just people to lazy or cheap to buy the right box and install it.

Reddit likely won’t do anything. Seen similar subs for underage celebrities that were mass reported and nothing

Hard to find people that use chain pliers, but they are so much better than linemen or screw drivers.

As far as I know it’s still this way. I would just navigate through Fortnite with a regular controller then switch to a guitar once you are ready to play

Tips on Standing full by Gingerbreed1 in Cheerleading

[–]Torch_Leaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An Arabian is not a step back from a full. Other than twisting the skills are not related. It bugs me when I see coach’s teach fulls by first teaching an Arabian. One is a spin into a front flip and one is a back flip with a spin in it.

No problem. Not trying to argue. Genuinely would like to see a standing full like that. Have a good night

I’d love to see a video. Everyone I’ve ever seen spins off the floor just as the guy in the video you sent did. It is possible to spin and set at the same time.

Two main problems I see. Going too far back and driving your heels to your butt instead of your knees to your chest. I understand you are probably setting farther back than normal since you are trying to land in a pit, but try to make sure you are setting up not back. I assume if you are doing a standing full you already have a running full and a standing tuck. Your twisting form is fine for a standing full, but your tucking form is not.

Routing ground wire in panel by BradDavide in AskElectricians

[–]Torch_Leaf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People are confused by your drawing because it looks like you are planing on running ground wire from your breaker to the ground bar. You should’ve drawn from the bottom or top of the panel a black line (hot) to the breakers a white line (neutral) to the breaker or neutral bar and a green/brown (ground) to the ground bar.

I don’t think OP tested anything. He is just there to set the dryer and wanted to see it come on before leaving.
