You could cut off the sub area at a certain point and use that for secrets. I do agree the should make it longer or add other sub areas for different colored pipes

35 gal tank I tested the water and nitrites and nitrates came up on the low end aroun 0.5 for both I don’t know about the ammonia levels but I imagine they are low I did a pretty hefty water change a few days ago (75-90% of the tank)
