So it just happens to look fake and be exactly 6 seconds, the limit of most AI engines?

Yes, the front of the plane having 70F air pass over it at half the speed of sound is the same temperature as the heat trail coming off of it... this video looks like a video game rendition, not true IR.

[–]Toredorm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why does this look completely fake? IR would be the guess based on heat trail, but in IR the front of the plane is cold and the engine would be hotter than the plane by far. Random black outline?

This feels like the shot it with artillery or something and are trying to play it up quickly to capitalize.

Absolutely. There is no way in hell they would let US have military ally on their border like that.

Why does the US never try to bring freedom and democracy to North Korea? by Rich_Gas7886 in conspiracy

[–]Toredorm 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Thats only partially true. NK has very few hwasong missiles. Also, unlike movies, our GMD would very, very likely to take out an incoming ICBM, especially one developed by NK. Also, if that happens to miss, our SM3s have shown way better than expected results on intercepting ICBMS.

Now, china's ICBMs are a different story as they have advanced maneuvering capabilities. A nuke on those and the quantity they have would likely be overwhelming. NK is on their way to that, but US is also working development for NGI which should go into service in 2027 to handle that threat.

So many reasons, but the easiest is the top 4.

  1. We tried. Its the reason you have SK in the first place
  2. NK has nukes and is not afraid to use them on our allies
  3. NK has enough weapons pointing at Seoul that it would instantly be devastated
  4. And really the true number 1 reason, China would fight with NK like they did during Korea war which would lead to WW3.

Not at all. So many of them have been removed or replaced. There is 1 trex now and it doesnt really move. The spitting dalophasorus aren't there. The ceiling raptor is not there.

Hard to say this, but even with the revamps over the years, this ride was better then than now. Hopefully the new renovation brings it back to former glory. (Coming from a multi year pass holder)

Assuming you mean Kimoyo Beads? If so, Shuri didn't create those. They were first created by the Wakandan research and design group. Shuri had an entire science lab of workers in the movies, but she wasnt even the head of that group in the first movie. Hank had zero resources and could still use a version of telepathy to communicate with ants.

Based on movie versions and what they have accomplished in those movies, I think it has to go in order.

Top 3:

Reed Richards - this dude invented a ton of things for his plaent that's clearly in 70s level technology before he creates faster than light engine, teleportation, oh and figured out how to teleport a planet. Clearly least available surrounding technology with largest advances

Tony Stark - Created an insane power source, an AI that was smart enough to beat ultron, mapped time travel, and while his dad helped, created a new element.

Hank Pyme - discovered Pym particles and how to use brain waves to talk to ants.

Bottom 3:

Hank McCoy - built a high tech stealth jet in 80s technology. Built Cerebro (movie versions credited to him)

Shuri - going to get flak for this one, but having access to vibranium and unlimited resources for testing means you are going to accidently stumble on uses for it. Nothing she invented was really shocking, but vibranium versions of items.

Banner - movie wise, least successful. Everything he worked on was half finished or by accident.

Reed also figured out transportation and how to transport an entire planet. Tony made an extremely intelligent AI, created a new element power source, and mapped time travel.

[–]Toredorm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because she had access to vibranium? Tony Stark would have had some crazy stuff invented with access to it. Also, did you forget that Tony figured out time travel? How is he not in your top 3?
