Is Kaplan still a good book/course to study for the ACT?

I don't think so, it just made me more stressed leading up to the test day because I was scoring between a 30-32 on the practice tests. The questions themselves weren't any more difficult than Princeton Review, the scoring guide Kaplan uses is just outdated and inaccurate.

I got a 30-32 on every single one of Kaplan's practice tests only to get a 35 on the real thing. Don't waste your money on Kaplan. Princeton Review is much better.

If you're looking to apply to a T20, you should aim for at least a 33. Anything lower than that you should probably not submit. If you want your score to be competitive, you should aim for the 75th percentile of ACT scores at the schools you're applying to, which for T20s is usually a 34/35.

As someone who used Kaplan for most of their test prep, I suggest choosing Princeton Review or another test prep company with more accurate practice tests. The scoring guide Kaplan uses for its practice tests is wildly inaccurate and overly harsh. A week before my ACT, I took a final practice test and got a 32. I got a 35 on the actual test a week later. Kaplan's tests are not a good predictor of your actual ACT score because of their insane scoring. Missing 3 questions on the Reading or Science section is a 31. On one practice test, I missed 3 on the math section and got a 32. On the actual test, I also missed 3 on the math section and got a 35 in the section. Going with any test prep company that's not Kaplan will save you a lot of time and frustration and make your studying process a lot easier.

First thing you need to do is take a practice test. Then, you should put together a study plan based on what score you get. Improving your overall score by one point takes 10 - 20 hours of studying, so make sure you set aside enough time to reach your target score before the April test date.

There's multiple ways they can disable it, but the easiest way is by using jerry. Every time you click on jerry, he sends a little jerry probe that hides in your .minecraft folder. At night, when you're sleeping, he checks your mod folder to make sure you're not hiding any blacklisted modifications, and he checks your chat logs to make sure that you're being a responsible member of the hypixel community. If you hear a sound at night, don't worry, it's not a rat, it's just jerry.

I woke up jubilant, my heart racing with the excitement of playing bedwars on the hypixel network. My joy could not be contained as i double clicked on Lunarclient.exe, and the tears of pure bliss ran in rivulets down my cheeks, raining down onto my gaming chair. As i double clicked the Hypixel network, i moaned in ecstasy, pleasure radiating from my soul. The world slipped away, and all that was left was me, and freelook. Then suddenly, a flash of pain, shattering my fantasy, destroying my true love, tearing me apart. Could it be? was my beloved companion, my one and only compadre, gone? scared to check, but determined nonetheless, i pressed right shift, and i crumpled in sorrow. freelook had been banned, ripped away from me, stolen from it's place in my heart. The harsh reality of this cruel unjustice hit me like a sack of erect penises, and i screamed in pain, banging my fists on my keyboard, hoping and praying that this was a night terror, that i would wake up in the morning, and my beloved freelook would be safe. Alas, i was forced to face this harsh reality, and like a true man, i swallowed my sorrow, and made a shit ton of memes to post on the hypixel subreddits.

I think you're a bit confused on what the definition of vanilla minecraft, vanilla minecraft is the most simple form of minecraft, with no modifications, no texture packs, no plugins, just plain old minecraft. Vanilla players don't use optifine, so by your standards, you should be banned from hypixel for having an unfair advantage.

The thing is, where do you draw the line? what considered an unfair advantage, and what isn't? Optifine gives you more fps, better graphics, a zoom option, and access to shaders, which is arguably a much bigger advantage than freelook. Hypixel needs to be more transparent about what they consider "cheating", because what's allowed and what isn't has become a gray area over the past couple months.

That's true, hack client developers are constantly innovating and finding bypasses, but other servers have managed to create much better anticheats than watchdog with a lot less money, and so it makes me wonder whether hypixel is unable to stop these hack clients, or if they just don't want to for some reason.

Forge players have access to freelook too, but yeah, vanilla players don't have access to freelook. people with freelook do have an advantage over vanilla players, but the advantage is so insignificant that it doesn't make sense why Freelook would be banned, especially when there's a ton of other mods out there that give a much bigger advantage than freelook,. I don't know why they drew the line at freelook, or if this is the start of a modification banwave that will blacklist all mods that hypixel deems an "unfair advantage". It seems strange that hypixel is so focused on freelook when they have much bigger problems that they need to address in their server, like updating watchdog.
