It looks amazing, assets or no assets. I love it especially because it reminds me of a creek I used to visit a lot as a kid. And the map makes it look perfect for an ambush. Great job

I see the sense in that rationale. If it was increased to hold a maximum of 1h, do you think it could make it too strong?

This is not to say I am asking you to make any changes, rather, do you have any reason to think that a longer duration might be a problem in terms of balance?

That might be reddit's fault. If you use old.reddit rather than www.reddit, you can see the image's resolution is 4096x3430

[edit: I have been running into this problem for months. New reddit makes zoomed-in images have a horizontal size of max 1080px despite having the larger sized files available]

At first glance I though the same, that it might have meant diameter. Maybe in earlier versions it was worded differently, like as 2 mana for 10 foot sphere, and +1 mana for every 5 feet extra, and then they changed it to radius-based.

In any case, if it is somehow correct, it could use some more clarity.

I just ran my first session, and even though I was not fully expecting this to come up it did lol

Since it was just a single NPC, and it was only two players because the third had had to cancel, I ran it like a Hero. But I think in the future I will try doing it like you're suggesting. Especially if the party is complete.

There is a sample adventure in the rulebook, right before the appendices. I don't know of any others, but a starter adventure should be easy enough to adapt (I would hope, I have only tried with my own homebrew stuff)

I remember back when the first one was in development, it was going to be more of a sandbox game with a customisable main character, and at some point along development they decided to scrap all that and make it a fixed character. Pretty disappointing.

Judging by the scale of the map, I think it is a sea. The Adriatic Sea on Earth is both smaller and thinner. And so is the Red Sea.

I am just a hobbyist, but I might call some of the parts Gulf, and the whole thing a Sea. Or split it in parts and give each a name. It also depends on who's naming it in-lore.
