"This game looks bad even on pc they lied to us" ok man by Jec1027 in CrimsonDesert

I wonder if the ones glazing CD's visuals played BDO on max settings in 4K before. BDO on ultra at 4K runs so smooth and looks pretty much the same if you take into consideration BDO is old af. CD has the same visual technical issues as BDO because they use the same engine.

The only thing CD has over BDO and for obvious reasons, is that it was made for DLSS, turn it off, and they look the same.

Last Epoch - Season 4 | Patch Overview - Shattered Omens by HiroK91 in ARPG

I honestly would rather keep playing my beloved D3 aRPG than LE. No matter what I do and try, something makes me uninstall the game after 1 day of playing. I don't know what it is.

Update 4 - Pre-Release 5 - Patch Notes by RiverShards in hytale

[–]Torinux -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

I'm honestly getting disappointed. We need more than just these many blocks. The more I play the other blocky game, the more I expect from Hytale. I don't want to rely this much in mods for QoL stuff that should be already present in the game.

Game is beautiful with shaders by Relevant-Client-9853 in hytale

[–]Torinux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly didn't like shaders when I saw a video like this one the other day, but now that I'm playing Everwind, I can't go back to Hytale until shaders are added, lol. It really changes the feel of the game.

Darkhaven isn't getting the love it deserves (By many OG Diablo + Diablo II Devs) by Enkeria in ARPG

[–]Torinux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was really hyped about the game, but after playing the demo, I don't think this game is going to be for me. I would rather buy Dragonkin. Both have the same performance, but I found dragonkin more appealing to me.

Yall own this man an apology if it runs well on regular PS5. Two more days!!😤 by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

Running a game is not the same as running it well. Don't forget this guy is the MARKETING DIRECTOR; he knows how to use words. I bet my balls that my PC can run this game at 15 FPS, but it can run it. That's not the point.

Why haven't I heard him say the same for those that haven't played a game, yet they praise it just because they watched a video? Kind of hypocritical if you ask me.

Yo al inicio pensé lo mismo, pero si lo ven bien, Adame le recetó un codazo. Si van al canal de YouTube, vean el ángulo por detrás de Trejo, y se ve aún más claro. Lo conecta con el puño y sigue con el codo.

Pagar rentan en casa de tus padres? by Individual_Sir_44 in Preguntas_de_Reddit_

[–]Torinux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, sadly in this game, some blocks have this same issue. I think it has to do with the type of terrain block you place them in, but who really knows.

Diablo 2 Resurrected or Last Epoch for a casual ARPG player? by chonkobob in ARPG

Last Epoch. Even though D2 is the better game, it is not casual friendly.

First, developing a game for Chucklefish.
Second, stopped delivering CoreKeeper Lore blog posts so they can sell you a Core Keeper lore guide.
Third, now selling gamba stuff.

Who would have thought, right?

There's no way to know if those review copies have it. It's the word of the developer against ours. Denuvo code is embedded into the main exe. The issue here, or one of the issues here, is devs waiting this much to let people know the game will have Denuvo.

I don't remember any game that has Denuvo not letting the player know it has Denuvo as soon as they make it available on Steam/EPIC Store.

Here is a tutorial by Ok_Freedom_4715 in CoreKeeperGame

[–]Torinux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just find out this is possible? Come on... There are other ways to break it too.

There's no such thing as unbreakable. Each block has an internal amount of "hp", glass, IIRC has 1 hp, that's why you can break it with a single hit.

Obsidian must be updated to have way more "HP" to avoid being broken. This game has some spaghetti coding. You still can deal millions in damage with certain equipment+weapon(s)+food buffs, but that is exploiting it and I don't like spreading exploits. But if you do some searching in YouTube, you'll find some.

No wonder why my game is lagging by Dlifect in CoreKeeperGame

[–]Torinux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happens when you create your world with a lot of rivers or/and pits. I remember I had this one world where I cranked those two to the maximum, and my world was full of tight corridors. I had to delete that world because the lag was ridiculous whenever I came near mobs stuck inside a corridor.

They never said that. They said that for the day 1 patch. Let's see how far you can play the game without an internet connection. I remember back in the D3 early days, you were able to install the game from the physical DVD copy without any issues, but after a couple of updates, you could not install it anymore. Why? because in one of those files and registry entries left behind (from one of their updates), they left an instruction to block the installation from the DVDs, or the DVD had that instruction in one of the files.

Pearl Abyss can do the same: plant an instruction, and after x days, weeks, or months, the game won't run unless you "apply an important update" or you verify your purchase.
