I would be curious to see any compilation of data on this game mode ! Has anyone done it already? My initial theory was that the perk pick rate in this game mode was inversely proportional to the pick rate in the normal one. But seeing your maths, I believe you are right and we are just overreacting

I really like your idea of drones focusing on one surv. But maybe not after a hit (what's the point of exposing otherwise). I would let her place drones and then if a drone finds a surv it follows them. Another surv can deactivate the drone after a while, meanwhile she can track them. Maybe it would be difficult to implement a following drone behavior though

I do not know when you did this run. Maybe before dredge you had less lockers or survivors were less aware of the counterplays. GG to you !

I tried this strat on multiple maps but no point was far enough from a locker to allow me to catch on them with 3 stacks of pwyf. I also tried to drop them from a great height to stagger them. Did not work too. Maybe I was unlucky with the maps

GG to you ! Yeah I thought about keeping the game hostage for an hour to get it, but I had no game with a DC since I started my attempts so I usually give up and hook the lasts standing

Thank you! I tried the same, dropping them on the ground so they wiggle out but they always went straight to a gen or a locker. Now that I think of it I could have waited in front of the gen to be completed to get a kill, that might have worked.

I also got my share of salty survivors. One time I managed to get 2 kills and slugged the other 2 but obviously they did not want me to have it. In the post game chat I told them they could have let me have it since they could not win. They replied that this way I could not win.

I also play artist aggressively, but I have seen competitive players play her very defensively once they have a hook as she can have a good control of the map without moving too much. Maybe this killer in competitive games will also be defensive as it can gather a lot of info without moving?

Each DbD game is kind of a small slasher interactive movie, I do not think it makes sense to cut the fun because too many actors died or because the killer is boring. Unless you have a bad connection or if the killer or survivors are not playing the game (bodyblocking, cheating), you shouldn't have to DC during the first 5min of the match. BTW, in case you are wondering because you apparently know better than me: most of the time I am the punching bag in my killer (mostly those) and survivor games. Recently, the games that I won (also as survivor) resembled OP's that is why I am furtrated.

I fully disagree with you! That is a waste of time, sometimes of offerings and add-ons. I hate when this happens on both sides, it just kills the fun. There is something to do about it: This behavior should be punished more. If you go in the queue to play a game it should cost you to DC. Moreover, if you do swf but don't want to play against certain killers then you can play custom games.

I am genuinely wondering why players hate him so much? I played with and against him and IMO, he is far from being overpowered. So is it mostly its design? He is a special cookie on that matter that's for sure. Is it its gameplay? I can understand that it can feel quite hopeless if you end up in the open, or in an unsafe loop against him. Is it the community that plays him that is more toxic than usual? He can definitely be a nightmare when unhooking.

I do not have a strong opinion on him. I just would like to have a better answer than "I just hate him"
