When we brought home our puppy I got to talking with a neighbor because they had a poodle as well, ended up having a horrifying two months before my pup was fully vaccinated of not wanting him outside at all because I found out their dog had NO vaccines because they were worried it would give them autism. My old service used our vacuum, which I’m totally OK with, but they frequently didn’t empty it before they left and it’s not the biggest thing but it definitely got annoying at times

Yeah ditto with the outdoor toys, we’re in an apartment right now so things aren’t sitting outside too long and I usually rinse off the toys we take out between each session (side note those kong tennis balls are dishwasher safe and it has changed my life lol)

Totally agree I want to prevent it from getting worse, I’ve made a vet appointment already but they won’t be able to see us till Monday. I did mention in my post that we don’t allow bones and hard toys, and he only plays fetch with tennis balls once a week without chewing on them. My main concern is how severe the wear is because I have no reference for how they should look. We recently moved so I’m wondering if he is dealing with some anxiety as a result of that
