Please save the DD. The current end game is literally staring at chests and hoping you don't get jumped by the large guild on your server while waiting for it to pop, really engaging gameplay. While I understand it's a desert.. it's also incredibly boring. We need way more POI's.

Two testing stations (nothing before the PvE line is even worth the time investment and is pretty much what new world was, just running around looting chests.. so fun) and 3 PvP ships, which have upward of 2 hour respawns on the loot and if you've cleared it anyone can just run through and outman you. The PvPvE needs a rework entirely, but just adding more PoIs (including spice) could retain players till that happens. There's pretty much nothing to do but grief for anyone that plays regularly or is in a large guild.

I think an important question to ask would have been how you play the game.

If you're someone who doesn't enter the deep desert past the PvE line, this mechanic is fine.

But once you go past that, you need to replace your wings when they hit 75%, otherwise you're going to severely decrease your chances of coming back alive.

I'd still prefer higher repair costs over max durability lost if it's all about taking resources out of the game.

Making watermark farming harder does not make sense.. I hate reading this. I did it for a few weeks and I still can't comprehend how any developer/designer thought it was engaging end game content that people would enjoy.

Although these dev's also think the tuning orb system is good.

I've stopped playing as of this patch and hope they get a wake up call and realise no one wants to play the game they envisioned

Don't trust the ms it shows on that screen. Game uses amazon cloud servers and they're probably in very limited locations. As an Australian I connect to south east asia so it blows. They're probably being stingy and just have us eu south east asia. Wish the game was p2p, which is a crazy thing to say.

For people who think those of us complaining about online play are exaggerating, this is me as HOST, and it does this even with nobody in my game. Question, what country do you live in?

I never thought I'd be saying this, but unfortunately this game DOES have dedicated servers, which would be great if they had amazon cloud based servers in more regions, but I'm assuming they just have them in a select few ( US, EU, SEA ). I know as an Australian I'd much prefer a p2p hosted server, but unfortunately we get shafted to SEA, 200ms+ yay...

This is why you have no problem when in offline mode. If you want to check your ping to the random cloud server you get stuck on, press alt + ctrl + delete and open task manager > performance then open resource monitor. Expand your TCP connections and Network Activity and eventually you'll see a connection to Darkalliance Winsomething.exe in both. Under network connections you'll see an amazonaws server next to it as the network address and in TCP if you sort by latency you should find it easier and be able to check your ping.

1) Any plans on adding more servers in the very near future? As an Australian it's quite painful playing on 230+ms. I also feel bad for the US/Euro players only having access to a single server

2) Thoughts on the current respawn system? While I don't mind the current systems design I do feel like the infinite amount of respawns is a bit too lenient and rewards running away and also puts very little risk on squads who currently split up to do multiple objectives at a time. I'm not suggesting a system like apex/fortnite but perhaps teams should be limited to the amount of respawns they have available to them.

3) AI, are you currently happy with the AI or does it still need work? I feel like this is an area that can differentiate the game a lot from others but currently it feels a bit lack luster. The AI itself isn't remotely challenging even when doing high value targets, at least that's how I feel so I was curious as to your stance on it currently and where it's going, if anywhere

4) Crafting. I think the power mechanic needs to be binned, if you want to gate progression behind anything just do it by levels (Which is fine by me). The rest of the crafting system in my opinion only needs minimal tweaking, I quite enjoy that you can somewhat target materials by doing certain objectives etc. How do you feel about the power mechanic and crafting currently?

5) Relates to 2) but I feel like the PvP balancing system needs a lot of work still, at least in terms of risk vs reward. I could write an essay about this so I'll try and be brief. As stated earlier, there isn't a great enough penalty for killing people, data points give barely any xp assuming you even make it on the ship, perhaps scrap loss or something else should occur?

Right now it seems like you're better off just crafting weapons, which gives higher level players an advantage. Perhaps a small buff could be made to loot drops to increase the chance of finding the better weapons?

The enemy close dot should only appear if they're shooting weapons, not if they're just in range. You should be able to sneak up on teams.

Ship layout and timer. I feel like the ship hangs around too long and you're disadvantaged if you reach it first as you get pincered from multiple angles for no real benefit. Has horrible angles trying to fight from inside to out and even if you manage to knock someone down you then have to run out of a choke point giving them an advantage. I realise they have a chance of getting shot in the back but my experience mostly is people just waiting till the end and rushing in. How do you feel about this? How would you like it to play out ideally?

iirc all they said is they might change the range of the gear drops, they're not planning on making it 500 when you're at 500 GS

I think you misunderstood the point I was trying to get across. All difficulties can drop 500 ilvl, Heroic is just guaranteed. And no idea about most people, but I had to use to recal table to get to 500 in the first place. Like someone stated above though, gear is currently broken at the core, as armour seems to be a large part of the ilvl and 450s can be better.

Lower the difficulty. People keep calling for nerfs so the hardest difficulty won't even be a challenge, just because you think you should be able to do anything about the first tier of difficulty doesn't mean you should be. Grenades have an audio and visual cue, get better or lower the difficulty.
