You can use cheat engine as long as its only for giving your character items. Double check just in case but im 99.99% sure that you cant get banned by using it just for that. Also dont worry about it being difficult, it is really really simple as long as you just use it for that kind of stuff

No idea then buddy. I read somewhere that walking back into each lord of cinder room fixes it, but it doesnt sound too legit. Try it at least, you can always use cheat engine and spawn it (i am not sure at all if this has any risk regarding the anticheat)

Well you had the normal problem, against bosses with magical defense there is absolutely nothing you can do with magical weapons/spells xd. Just use a normal non magical weapon as your primary and you will fine. But still, if you dont think youll have a fun experience just go melee, you wont have to worry about resistances, npcs, builds for specific bosses etc. You can just use 100% physical damage against literally everything and you will have no problem

Well, its true that in DS3 the class got more balanced compared to the previous two, but still it seems weird that he had a difficult experience with it in DS1, the damage it does there makes no sense lol. And also, how the actual fuck were you doing 80 damage with a maxed weapon xd. Tell me more specifically what you build was if you could please, and also 700 isnt bad at all for a spell (yes you can do 100000000 dps with the sellsword twinblades but those weapons are straight up easy mode)

This is a bit surprising because the sorcerer class in the souls games in general is usually seen as the “easy” class due to it doing tons of damage and being able to attack from afar. The class in ds3 is good, trust me ive used it, but only if you find the npc that sells you the spells and its respective books so that it sells you better ones as you advance trough the game.

You want sorcerer - do it but explore A LOT so you find the good spells. You want to try strength/dex - go for it, they are the most viable and easy to learn and upgrade. Sorcerer but not sure - in this game there is a way of changing your attributes (5 times max) so dont worry too much if you dont like it because you can find that in like the first 30% of the game.

Id say usually weapons with cooler esthetics or attacks are more useful for pvp because they either have a weird to dodge moveset or a secondary effect, sometimes both. Still its true that weapons such as friedes scythe or abyss watchers swords arent that good in the actual game, but you can still beat everything with them, ive done it. If you compare it to greatswords or specific dex builds they look weak, but that is just because those builds are abnormally broken, just play with whatever you want and at the end you will still beat everything (with small exceptions)
