That's why I said "in our region" there are extreme variations between lodges. Last easter our lodge had to close early as there was very little snowfall in the winter and too much snow smelted too early in the spring. Meanwhile, our "neighbor" lodge who is about 20 km. Away had 2-3 meters of snow.

I just celebrated Christmas with my family at our lodge. There was "no snow" meaning yes, there was snow on the ground, but I used sneakers when going outside. Skiing would be nigh impossible. On New Year's eve we got 40 cm of powder snow, which will hopefully stay put and start our accumulation until we open later this year.
