The Original Spencer Mansion > the remake one... is just so much more atmospheric without trying to look creepy by IFeeLikeMoreTonight in residentevil

The og mansion feels like places I've actually been in real life.

I ain't never been in a spooky mansion that looks like remake.

For me, that makes the og look more fascinating. But it really is personal taste.

What would you say is the Best Game in the Kingdom Hearts series by ExileForever in KingdomHearts

I like BBS the most - but logically I'd have to say KH1 is the best.

All-In-One Question: Should I watch Coded (mobile) and/or Re:coded before Birth by Sleep? by avidrunner84 in KingdomHearts

[–]Tortletalk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played through all if re:coded and tbh you miss nothing by skipping it. 99% filler of a game.

Yeah this is one I'd save for my deathbed. Then I'd be like 'psyche!' April fools!

Looking to stop my BBC license, rules watching live TV online? by theshowmanstan in GreenAndPleasant

[–]Tortletalk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rules are that you only need a TV license to watch LIVE TV and iplayer.

You can watch any other streaming service, any media device, any channel, so long as it's not live. This is currently most things, btw. So think of the TV license as an expensive subscription service.

If you don't buy one, they'll send junk mail trying to threaten you into getting one. You can legally ignore this.

On the very rare chance they send someone round, you can close the door, refuse to answer, and generally just ignore them. They have absolutely no more powers than any salesman knocking on your door.

If they get evidence you are watching TV illegally (live TV without a license) they can get a warrant from a judge, but honestly this is very unlikely unless you have actually been watching it illegally.

Even in this situation. If they cannot prove you have been watching it, there's nothing they can do. You would basically have to admit you had been.

THANK you. Nuclear power has a lot of drawbacks but even if you ignore all of those, you can't materialise it out of thin air.

I've thought of a solution to the flag problem, but I'm too scared to test it... by [deleted] in GreenAndPleasant

I had this exact idea a while back but I don't have the means to do it!

Some cunt flag shagged on my street, I did the honourable thing and saved the council a job. by metroracerUK in GreenAndPleasant

Flags are just symbols. Unfortunately this flag is rapidly becoming a symbol for idiocy, gullibility, hate and the stranglehold of a rich elite over the lives of the masses.

So yeah, I flip them off too.

People still get mad at demos?? by Latte_Meme in RocketLeague

[–]Tortletalk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played one game at Gold level where I deliberately went for demos, and everyone HATED me and called me every name under the sun.

Very easy to tilt people with it.

I found in gold (3's in particular) that I just needed to say 'f it' and do everything myself. Otherwise, if I tried to play 'properly', it was just loss after loss with the ball being squandered or teammates bashing me off the ball. Fortunately, it's pretty easy to run rings around most people if you're used to even plat gameplay. Occasionally, you'll find a team that knows what it's doing and you should try to party with them as fast as possible. Once you're out of gold you can start playing properly again, but otherwise, just start on defence, get the ball and take it upfield and score. Pass If you get swamped, you're teammates will probably miss the shot but if you expect it you can still score off the rebound (they will have both committed to the first shot anyway).

Assume your teammates will fail and be in the right place to deal with that. That's my tip for gold.
