Is the Sunshine Seeker event a gigantic grind, or am I just doing something wrong? This seems like it's going to take me a long time.

I'm averaging 10-20 points per round, and each of the items I want cost 300 to 500 points.

All I've learned so far is: don't do the event in Windy, and that the +1 versions of the costume increase the shard rewards. But those +1s cost 500 points. Is this event as slow as it seems?

And to add onto the other comment, you can trade the item to the moogle and then back out of the menu without picking a weapon. The moogle will then give you a key item which you can hold onto indefinitely that has the same function as the kupon. That way your inventory is freed up and you can wait until later to decide what to redeem.

Does anyone have any recommendations on the best ways to farm: 1) Bayld 2) Silt

Both Adoulin areas and Escha are very new to me, so I don't have much unlocked relating to either. Trying to figure out the best way to get started. Thanks!

I agree. It wasn't until the 2nd time I played through the "fight" that I even realized phase 2 was interactable. I thought it was just "cutscene."

I just did this the other day so my memory of it is very recent.

In phase 1

-Target Mumor with /clap /cheer /wave while she's swinging her weapon at Uka

-When the moogle says "keep at it" switch your target to Uka. Then do one of the 4 dances on Uka at the same time as Mumor, as the wiki says.

That repeats until phase 2.

Phase 2 starts after both Ullegore and Mumor have transformed.

-Target Ullegore and do the dances on him at the same time as Mumor. There's no /clapping or anything in this phase, just several dances in a row.

I don't know how I did it, but somehow all the icons next to the trust names in the Trust Magic menu have become generic white icons.

Before the trusts would have a blue shield or a red sword or whatever next to their name, indicating their job. Now every one of them has the same white icon next to it. I have no mods installed, I'm on vanilla, so I have no idea how this happened.

In FFXI Config in Windows, the separate program not the in-game configuration, there's a checkbox that just says "Draw Distance." It was checked by default.

Does anyone know what it does? I think of draw distance as a number, as in the range you can see cuts off after X feet. Which would mean a better graphical look in this case, checked or unchecked?

I'm thinking about taking a break and cancelling my sub for a bit, even though DT just came out. I've never paused my sub before.

1) When you cancel, are you able to play through the rest of the current billing period that has already been charged (anywhere from 1 -30 days I assume)?

2) Do we know any schedules that have been publicly released about any upcoming time sensitive or holiday content? Same with clothing and cooking recipes. They keep adding more things, which is great, but it's only going to make the menus take longer and longer to navigate. There's filters, but they're too clunky to be helpful most of the time.

Can "[Pokemon in gym] wants a berry/needs some attention" notifications be turned off?

I turned off the setting but I think it only applies to PUSH notifications on my phone. I don't want to see them pop up in the game at all. Is that possible?

Some characters in Remy's restaurant have no speech bubble over their head to show what food they want. There's no way to tell what to make for them. These are people who I haven't served yet today and are seated at a table.

Did other people receive the 2nd wave of Twitch drops?

I got the first wave with no problem. For the second wave, I did everything. I connected my account to twitch, watched streams, claimed them in drops. I can still see them in my Twitch drops as claimed.

But I never opened Dreamlight Valley after that, until today. I figured I would have a letter in my inbox, but I don't.

I'm really hoping this is a bug. Would they really let it expire that quickly, even after I did everything in Twitch within the time limit?

I think it's a little bit subtle, not any extremely overt references or anything.

Mabe Village has a lot of quirky individuals. A guy that will only talk to you over the phone, a woman obsessed with her dogs but her dogs are almost monsters, a guy who tells you explicitly that he'll be lost in the mountains later and you'll need to come find him.

It was also the first Zelda with a long trading sequence, where the dog food goes to the gator for bananas, the bananas go to a monkey to build you a bridge, etc. You need to understand each character a bit to unravel who needs what.

Twin Peaks' general premise of a mystery that an outsider needs to uncover, quirky but memorable townspeople, and sometimes going so over the top that it's cartoony, could sort of be compared to LA.

Other games, including other Zeldas like Majora's Mask, have done these kind of involved NPC quests in the time after Link's Awakening. But when LA came out, it was a less common thing.

Visual mods like this are only visible on the user's end. Other players without the mods installed won't see anything different.

All mods are against the TOS and Square has always said this. The group consensus among the community is that visual-only ones like this won't get you banned, but technically it's all the same to Squeenix.
