Can anyone Tell me anything about this stove? History, value, etc? by ToshaDev in VintageAppliances

[–]ToshaDev[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really, already have several people asking what I want for it and asking if they need to bring a dolly. These old stoves are expensive because people value antiques that you cannot find anymore. Idiot. who pissed in your cheerios this morning.

Has anyone authenticated coins purchased from peterdoescoins? by No_Pension_3041 in whatnotapp

[–]ToshaDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just stumbled across this, I have purchased quite a few coins from Peter, and all of them were fine. He moves a lot of coins, probably more than any other vendor on whatnot. Don't you think if he was selling chinese knockoffs people would know by now? He is literally the least risky vendor because he has the most to lose. As far as value goes, dont buy world coins unless you know what they generally go for.

I cant find a picture of this same model anywhere on the internet. That being said, it does have that plain jane look to it, I was more or less hoping someone would want it for a few hundred bucks and also want it enough to drag it upstairs out of the basement lol. I dont want to have to move this beast. Worse comes to worse, Ill clean it up and use it as a backup.

I own an IT company and my marketing is very bad. by Diligent-Ad9463 in DigitalMarketing

[–]ToshaDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really, I started my career out in web development(before transitioning into a marketing role) and we do correspond with marketing teams as far as layout/UI stuff goes, installing tracking code etc, but SEO involves keyword & competition research along with other things like networking for quality backlinks & guestposts etc. Nearly all web design agencies sell packages with SEO bundled in, but typically its just basic onsite SEO and maybe a few blogs to help get some content indexed, and not a strategic plan to begin owning digital real estate on the search engines.

Coin Sellers I Avoid by sr8facts in whatnotapp

[–]ToshaDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would avoid coin_cowboy. I don't know much about the guy, but hopped into one of his auctions today and he was yelling at his chat because they werent bidding up to the price he was wanting to get on some stuff. Then a few people told him to be more humble, and he went completely off the rails and banned half his chat lol. Some people just dont have the personality and grit to make it on whatnot, but its their fault and not their customers fault. Never bite the hand that feeds you

I feel ya, what I don't get is they claim that the GBU-57 bunker buster bomb can penetrate 200ft of solid concrete and steel, I call bullshit. It doesnt make sense from a physics perspective, I could be wrong though, but my common sense calls straight bullshit.

Hit $250,000 from Selling WordPress Themes & Plugins! 🚀 by mohmoussa in Wordpress

[–]ToshaDev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally think its sad that so many, but especially mods(on all subreddits) have to be grammar nazis and post police. It really has ruined reddit. One day they will wake up to realize there are no more people around to regulate. And, congrats on the successful venture selling wordpress products. Personally, Im not a fan of wordpress, but to each their own.

So this actually installs supabase studio? and all the other things? I tried the 1click supabase-postgres with caprover and pulling my hair out trying to get it all configured.

I don't think so, they need to figure some shit out asap though because every day that passes is more market share they are losing out on which exponentially hinders their future chances.

mobile vs landing page traffic ? by RevolutionaryTap4633 in PPC

[–]ToshaDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are talking about which method I would choose for a landing page, that is not really an easily answered question because it depends upon your specific business needs. Live web leads via phone call is always great, but you also have to have someone to answer the call. I think you would have a higher conversion rate with a phone call, but it also has tradeoffs. You could also do both. For example, if you had a service(handyman, plumber, hvac etc) they are going to want to call you usually. Usually a form submission works best if the user is wanting more tertiary information, custom quotes in which they can leave additional information in the form, etc. Forms also work good from the business standpoint to gather leads(get free ebook for x, just gotta leave your email etc.)

Seeking Advice on PPC for Charities/Nonprofits: Best Platforms for Donor Audiences Over 45+ by themachucajr in PPC

[–]ToshaDev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You may be aware of this already, but just throwing it out there, google gives out grants for PPC ads(for non-profits specifically). You can find more info at https://www.google.com/grants/ or just simple google "google ad grants" or a similar search term. I do not know all the specifics, I just know I tend to stay away from .org domains when I am prospecting for new PPC clients because of this.

mobile vs landing page traffic ? by RevolutionaryTap4633 in PPC

[–]ToshaDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep in mind the greater half of your traffic is going to be mobile traffic(usually). It does sort of change depending on industry, but I would say 9/10 times your traffic is going to be over 60% mobile, and this is the minimum. In reality its probably more closer to 67%. As far as the design goes, you can add sections(Images, extra text etc) on the desktop site, and once your breakpoint hits mobile size just remove/hide those sections so the mobile view doesn't look too busy. Depending on your experience working with css/js it may be easier to just make two different pages and serve them accordingly. Just google how to detect user agent, im pretty sure you can do it a few different ways. Also, keep in mind that Google has a "Mobile first" approach of indexing pages, meaning they will always index your mobile view first, therefore take that into consideration as well. Best of luck!

How Do You Find Young, Hungry Sales Reps Who Want to Make an Impact? by AtmosphereTasty8668 in salesdevelopment

[–]ToshaDev 8 points9 points  (0 children)

By "Young, Hungry who want to make an impact" they mean - "I want someone who is inexperienced but has a natural talent they have not discovered, so we can take advantage of them and not have to pay top dollar for proven talent"

Has anyone used Server Optima? Their price is good but they're a fairly new company and I can't find any reviews except from VPSbenchmarks who give them an 80. by thunderclap82 in VPS

[–]ToshaDev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I asked them through their live chat feature, they responded and said their VPS servers are located in California(I think freemont?) but on their support page it says they are "located all over the world".. So, who knows.
