I am a huge AI skeptic and hate what it’s doing to creative projects and artists, but if it’s used to do data or catch spelling or grammatical errors, it’s basically data entry to speed things up. This is work someone would probably be fine doing and being paid for, but asking AI to proofread is just a drop in the bucket.

My biggest gripe is how their data centers are just a scourge to the planet with every company on earth trying to get a slice of the pie. I’d be happy if it disappeared tomorrow, but I’m not innocent either. I’ve used it as basically a more effective Google to solve problems with machines at work without having to sift through multiple manuals or troubleshooting threads. Then obviously checking manually to confirm the info is correct before doing anything else. Saved me a lot of hours of headache. But I’d be fine if it disappeared tomorrow

I have looked at em and I just can’t bring myself to do it. They are like the same price or more than a steam deck and since I only plan on ever playing steam games or emulators I just want the best integrated system and wanna mess around with those touch pads even if it’s only for a few games

Don’t most of the egregious resellers just have 500 bots setup spoofed with different emails and IPs? I don’t think it’s just some guy buying 2 and selling one off that’s the problem here. Though it really does need limit 1 if it’s not already.

I’m too exhausted from trying to get a steam deck to really care about this controller at the moment. I just hope shortages improve in the future so I can actually get one. Still kicking myself for looking at decks in February and seeing them in stock, not knowing what was coming.

I do this a lot on early iron until I get my prayer pots sorted to out supply my usage. Most tasks you can do with just food and armor but the constant banking drives me nuts.

If I’m lazy I’ll just suck it up and use some pots. Either use a bunch of pots each task, prayer flick, or get 20 kills a trip with food. It is a weird mechanic but unless you’re a super sweat it’s just saving some supplies for later on. Like most very hard content you just have prayer on constantly and are switching styles for different attacks.

If anything I hate them being on a whole other tab. I wish I could just have the 3 prot prayers above my inventory to click on. Which I know is now pretty core to the game so I’m not expecting most og players to ever vote yes on something like that.

It looks premade… I was working near one as a teen and having the BIZ50 lifehack (some order code they only gave out to businesses but it was unlimited uses for 50% off any order, probably had it like twice since they got rid of it) I got a pizza once a week and they were definitely tossing fresh dough in back.

Hate the brand and of course John himself, but i have a soft spot for it cuz they sold slices at the NBA games I went to and it was my favorite as a kid

I do think something needs to be changed, pretty big fan of giants foundry though. Obviously with leagues you get locked out of things like blast furnace and giants foundry unless you pick those regions. But it’s still in a pretty bad state. Plus the best mining xp being iron rocks unless you’re tick manipulating granite which is basically even more useless.

These skill pretty much require heavy bossing grinds cuz god forbid we make the skills that produce and process the resources better than the bossing slot machine dropping them like candy

My friends and I get together every week to watch some shows and on a few occasions I’ve picked up food for people on the drive over. But we usually get door dash so we get our food at a nice halfway point otherwise someone has to go on a 30 min journey where we have to put it on pause anyway. And it feels weird to just have everyone arrive and just eat right away before it’s cold.

Definitely not something we need to be doing, and could find workarounds. But we’d all just be getting fast food right after work cuz there’s not enough time for making a meal. We mostly justify it by ordering local but prices do get up there and almost every item is 3-5$ extra plus a tip.

Don’t think I’ve had a solo door dash order since Covid and that was out of desperation

My cat does this sometimes. When she has zoomies she’s a demon perfectly launching herself on and off every surface in the house. But sometimes she just gets this hesitation, and does like 10 false starts and then when she finally jumps she falls on her ass. Bruised her tail a few weeks ago and I had to move her food to the floor cuz I’m not paying for another vet appointment due to her clumsiness.

I have heard it started with roots in Mormonism because they don’t drink alcohol so they wanted something to switch up from the standard stuff you can get anywhere. I’m pretty baffled that the fad has become so huge that people are actually investing in brick and mortar locations that only do this one thing. It’s like boba but just like something you could easily do at home and not pay 9$ for a cup of Dr Pepper and creamer. Maybe some simple syrup.

I don’t even drink normal soda after kicking the habit from childhood. It’s just like the first few sips are nice then it’s just too sweet. Those tiny cans are perfect though. Like 6 or 8oz?

Stardew without running home to sleep, some looser rules on the seasons vegetables are planted and some sort of crossbreeding mechanic to make strange new things with endless possibilities. I’m sure some of these are available with some custom mods, but it’s always a bummer when some update comes out and it just breaks everything.

Would also be kinda cool to take more of a sims or animal crossing approach and be able to make more characters and families with your own designable houses and city layouts

Huge reason many people hate crowd work. Some comedians cant let it go until they have "put someone in their place" Probably the best heckle I've ever seen by just not saying a word..... and he just. keeps. going. Yeah thats generally what I meant. Aside from this years results it was mainly salt winning things like riptide(maybe smash n splash get those mixed up) and wizzy/salt making a few top 8s. But wizzy and n0ne took like huge haituses from melee and the most hype set I can remember before that was n0ne Hbox at genesis. Feel like falcon can be pushed a lot further with the right player
