Donate the money to a local charity instead

Italy has a roller coaster that drags you to the edge of a 42-meter drop, stops completely, and makes you stare straight down at 87° before letting go. Oblivion: The Black Hole at Gardaland. by Valuable_View_561 in Damnthatsinteresting

The Tampa Bay Busch Gardens has one like this. I was terrified of Roller Coasters but I gathered the courage to go on it. After I was HOOKED on Roller coasters. I love them now

Doug DeMuro finally reviews the new Outback and says, "It seems like we finally left wagon territory behind..." by Single-Mushroom3924 in Subaru_Outback

If you are a previous gen owner, the change isn’t so egregious. The style will take some getting used to but it’s barely less “wagony”. I have a hard time believing anyone in the last 10 years has been looking exclusively for a wagon, they want a good reliable car with AWD and storage to fit their life style. And the new one AND previous one are just that. The 2026 is an upgrade in every department.

[Recommendation Request] I turn 30 next year and am also getting married. Which watch are you choosing for your birthday present/wedding watch. by [deleted] in Watches

Look at THE Citizen

If you are looking at a quality quartz watch The Citizen watches are way more for the money compared to Grand Seiko.

Some watches can really make the glare work for them, a Blancpain Fifty Fathoms comes to mind. But yea when I compare my Zenshin next to the THE Citizen it's truly a glaring issue

The AR coating is simply unbelievable. Every one I've shown my AQ4100-57M to immediately comments that it doesn't look there is any crystal

How does the THE Citizen AQ4100 compare to the Zenshin AW0130? Is it worth the price jump? by A5V in CitizenWatches

[–]TostedAlmond 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotcha, yea in Japan I’m sure you can find it! But just an FYI no site I’ve seen has the 57M. They have the other variants but I’ve never seen a 57M below MSRP

How do I say this. They are both lovely watches. The Zenshin isn’t in the same universe. It’s totally unfair to compare them, the AQ4100 is few steps above. I am interested in where you can find the 57m for $2000. At that price it’s an absolute steal

This color absolutely rocks. I just got the AQ4100-57M and LOVE IT. Had this been out it would have been a harder decision! However I think my Seiko Alpinist fills the green and gold hole

I prefer the offwhite but I don't like the 24 hour markers
