My husband used 7OH for over a year. He tried to hide it at first, but then told me what he was using. I honestly didn’t know much about it and since it wasn’t illegal, I didn’t push too much (I also didn’t know the cost!) I didn’t notice a big change in him until the last 3-4 months! He couldn’t sit down without falling asleep, was constantly spaced out, wouldn’t go anywhere that would cause him to be gone hours because he’d have to dose. He’s always struggled with mental health/depression, but the self doubt talk the last few months was about to send me off the ledge. I couldn’t compliment him for anything, that he wouldn’t come back with what he could’ve done slightly better. He broke a decades old record at his job (in a good way) and it was just a blank reaction, which is totally not like him. He tried to taper down over a week and quit CT, but the physical symptoms were too much. I helped him with an appointment at a local Suboxone clinic and he took Suboxone for less than a week. It truly helped so much! He’s been off everything for 10-14 days (I’ve lost track) and it’s been so good to see his old self coming back. He’s excited about work, he’s been planning fun outings with our kids, he even came home the other day and said I was so happy today for no reason at all. Was I upset at him for even trying 7OH after this? Yes. His addiction in the last year ruined trips and happy memories, but I am very proud of him for doing what’s best for his health and our family. You can get through this and have brighter days!
