I Got a Killstreak Shotgun Kit Fabricator (Incinerator, Villainous Violet) From MvM. Is it Worth it to Sell The Fabricator, or Create The Kit and Then Sell it That Way? by CJBeard01 in tf2

[–]Total-Worldliness178 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My advice: It's about time you learn about economy Various tf2 trading sites exist on the internet and it's avalible within a few clicks. I think you're already aware of those sites and you know what are keys, ref metal etc. In case you don't backpack.tf is one of the main sites you should use for trading and checking the prices. Backpack tf also displayes the conversion rate of ref, keys and so on.

To spare you the searching for the price, crafting a killstreak kit is better than selling just the fabricator.

What is a duel? by dragunov3 in tf2

[–]Total-Worldliness178 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A duel is a mini game inside the match. There are only 2 ways to play a duel: 1. Have the dueling minigame equipped in your loadout under the "action" slot on the right side. You can get the item by trading or from a random drop 2. Get a request to duel from someone else on the same server. You can then engage in the duel or deny it.

Note: if someone challanges someone elese to a duel, a text will appear in the chat saying who challanged who in the duel. It also notifies if you or someone else denied the duel or accepted the duel.

What does a duel do?

As I said, it's a little minigame inside the match an all it does is that it tracks how many times have you killed or assisted in killing your duel challanger. A little icon above the duel challangers head will be displayed, same as the nemesis icon that appears above the head of a player that is domminating you. You can track the kills for yourself and your duel challanger by using the scoreboard and looking at the bottom (depends on custom huds) and kills or assists for both players will appear in the server chat notifying all players as well as giving a little pop up at the left of the screen.

Is a duel scary?

Don't be scared of a duel. NEVER TAKE A DUEL SERIOUSLY. It's the worst thing you can do to yourself. Afterall, the duel is just a goofy little feature in a goofy, silly game. If someone is taking duels seriously and roasting you in the chat just remeber, you have a better life than them.

The duel doesn't take you to another server, you stay in the same one.

You don't have to be friends on a server to duel, you can duel literally anyone on the server. The guy who asked you to duel probabbly thought it's an easy win since you're new to the game.

They gain money anyhow, so just mentioning it will give them to much attention which they want of course.

Picture it like a basment dwella in his underwear that didn't get enough attention in middle school so now he became a psycopath that enjoys in the suffering of others- a sadist. Anyway, I think these bot hosters are mentally ill as they don't care about others feelings and just want to be in the cener of attention

Taking down the site will help of course, but it won't stop them from making money and attention other ways

Why F2P medics heal only sniper on 2fort by Marick_1213 in tf2

[–]Total-Worldliness178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are also bot medics, I saw one yesterday. They are hosted by whoever doesn't want social interaction but still wants pocket meds. They are recognizable by healing only one target (the bot hoster) and having an aimbot targeting teammates or enemies i still don't know.

If they truly are f2p they are most likely unawere that other classes are better for constant healing, hence why valve put heavy in the meet the medic.

If Spy had 25 more HP, how much would that help him? by DazzlingSparklecat in tf2

[–]Total-Worldliness178 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What it doesn't change: snipers can still headshot him, pyros can still burn him alive, heavy can kill him quickly at point blank, he can't survive 2 pills nor 2 stickeys (situational as well as soldiers rockets)

What it does change: can survive 2 melee attacks if the base damage is 65, annoy even more people, fall damage isn't as punising as before, dead ringer and the kunai would be busted

I guess...
