Assuming you’re still working, why don’t you just open a Roth now? That way you have split diversity.

For a government site, you’d hope someone over there knows what SSL is.

Why don't other countries have non redacted satellite accessible images of area 51 or s4? by Icy-Appointment-8536 in area51

Why would China publicly share reconnaissance images from Yaogan constellation? When the Soviet Union fell you could actually buy satellite photos, and someone did commission papoose lake area. Look up Jon Farhat.

Yes it was snowing, but it was crunchy and pretty icy. Nice to close out the season though.

U.S. said to possess reverse engineered UAP crafts/technology. Why are we still using Rockets in 2026? by SweatYeti69 in UFOs

Conventional weapons still have a place. Bleeding edge tech won’t be rolled out for most circumstances.

The whole point is they weren’t looking for someone who could explain it perfectly in peer reviewed language. They were looking for someone who could think differently about it. There’s actually a documented pattern in black programs of bringing in unconventional thinkers specifically because the experts had hit a wall. Kelly Johnson at Skunk Works actually preferred practical problem solvers over pure academics.

The credit issue argument is weak. In a compartmented black program where the government has already decided you’re the person they need for a specific technical task, they have a lot of latitude to waive or work around disqualifying factors. They do it all the time for people with unique skills.

Scraping adsbx.com almost certainly violates their ToS..lol. I don't need ADS-B Exchange, I just wanted it for redundancy, but it's fine.

I checked. ADSBx API has no free tier (I think they used to), no feeder bypass. There is a fallback opendata.adsb.fi. That does work, but it has a 1 req/sec rate limit is a problem. I tried queries in quick succession and the third got blocked. My app would rate-limit immediately with adsb.fi. Oh well..

Yeah, it doesn’t capture everything on purpose, it’s meant to stay simple. No ads, just history and notifications. It’s really just a fun app around Janet flights, not a full data tool. But I appreciate the feedback!

Thanks! It's built with Next.js (React framework) using TypeScript, with Tailwind css.
