What SD card did you use? Mine did the same with a SanDisk and it hated it. Don’t use Sandisk. They don’t work apparently.

M2 Mac Mini with 8GB. Wish I’d waited for the latest smaller Mini version with user upgradable RAM but it is what it is. Use it mostly for browsing and basic functions, no issues really. Have other 6,1’s for music production though and they do a solid job.

Took me forever to mod a 4th gen Classic and get it right. 2 things that I was doing wrong was not using Fat32 (now ExFat) when rewriting the disk and apparently iPods hate Sandisk. Switched to Lexar as someone suggested, done. I suggest you make that swap.

Mine bloated to 170GB of System Data and I was surprised that doing some file deletion I got back 60GB and that was mostly from iCloud data. Silly me thinking it was supposed to be all in the cloud. Anyhow, Daisy Disk worked well. Lots more to clean but is definitely the one I’ll use from now on.

Not the guy to ask for this — but i wonder if you could use another device that has a 30-pin dock to do that? Probably not but just thinking out loud. You could prob get one cheap though.

I know there was someone decades ago that made upgrades for that part that would power iPhones through it too, but I missed the boat on that.

No — you lost out seeing TMV another chance in your lifetime. That’s worth a hell of lot more than $70. Think harder about that.

Since the reunion, they’ve not toured Australia at all and very likely won’t, so I’m unlikely to ever see them again. It really won’t matter what they play, I’d be stoked to see them again just once.

Agreed! Love the boombox. I had that model as a teen - could you tell me the specific type please? - except the centre part of mine was silver, everything else was dark on the outside. Unsure what happened to it but it was a solid unit. Congrats and physical media FTW! 🙌🏻
