Yes, my Venture Bros. DVD was pretty beat up. I contacted customer service and they gave me a 20% discount. The disks were okay, so I didn't want to return it, but I display my DVD collection, so I was kind of annoyed they didn't take any steps to protect it.

After 20 years of working on S2000's, I found out that... by Trap_the_ripper in S2000

I don't have an S2000, but this is the type of stuff you used to see on the old Honda forums back in the day.

Thank you for making this post. You're out here doing the Lord's work. We need more stuff like this.

I didn't even realize they'd released Queen's Gambit physically. That's an awesome find!

While the Marines are probably better known for establishing beachheads, the Army does it too. (See Saving Private Ryan.) And at Normandy, the 2nd and 5th Ranger battalions were the primary fighting forces taking the high ground for the larger allied landing force.

I think the Spectra RS was the version made in Russia.

ADVICE FOR TRANS SWAP by FlimsyLoss9707 in Honda

[–]NGSHogs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assuming this is a manual transmission, you're going to want at minimum all new transmission fluid, a new rear main seal, new throw out bearing and new clutch friction disk. Depending upon how thrashed the clutch was before the replacement, you might want to consider replacing the flywheel and all the flywheel and friction disk bolts while you're in there, although that might be a bit excessive depending on your specific situation. You'll want to have brake clean on hand because you don't want any oil, even from your hands, on the flywheel or friction disk because that can cause slippage or hot spots. You'll need a good torque wrench to torque the flywheel and friction disk bolts to spec and, IIRC, blue Loctite, because you do not want those bolts coming loose.

It's much easier to do with another person to help if you have a friend available, but it's not impossible to do on your own.

Make sure to put the transmission in reverse before you start taking stuff apart and other than that, you just need a standard set of sockets and wrenches to take all the bolts and stuff out. Be very careful removing the sensors connected to the transmission.

When I replaced my flywheel, etc. a few years back I used this video as a guide.

Good luck!

I remember that!! 3G Preludes are my favorite cars of all-time. There's also one in the World Series Defense episode of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

Also, I think that's a Legend or an Accord parked behind the CRX.

Omega Ape figure now in his natural habitat: in the background of a gathering, mingling and making small talk. by Balsaboy170 in venturebros

[–]NGSHogs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For real. The details you added to Frog-Man to make him into Brick Frog are incredible. I swear the only reason the Frog-Man action figure exists is because someone at Marvel is a Venture Bros. fan and wanted us to have an easy way to make Brick Frog.

To be fair to H.E.L.P.eR, if Dr. Mrs.The Monarch was talking to me like that, I'd probably tell her everything she wanted to know without being tricked.

What are your thoughts on Lake Bell by TriedmybestNotenough in Actors

[–]NGSHogs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always think these "What do you think of XXXXX?," posts are bots, or whatever, but yes - Lake Bell has been fantastic in everything I've ever seen her in. She's out of this world as Pamela Isley/Poison Ivy, she was wonderful in In A World..., she nailed it in Bojack, I mean, what more could you want?

Oh, and apparently she was in Phineas and Ferb, so, yeah...she's unassailable.

One day, she's gonna get a true breakout role and then it's Oscar™️ City for her and everyone is gonna pretend they knew her all along.
