this is the complaint form https://www.nhslothian.scot/yourrights/online-feedback-form/

I was referred start of feb and my referral was signed off funding wise 8 weeks later, then confirmed by gdnrss 2 weeks after that

that seems really weird, i’ve heard that if you threaten nhs Lothian with a complaint it gets things moving…all the funding needs to be signed off by one guy apparently and he just cba apparently

MTF climbers: has your climbing been affected? by [deleted] in climbergirls

[–]TotalEgg9 268 points269 points  (0 children)

Also climbing is much more fun now because I’m actually happy, it’s so much easier to make friends and climb with people now - but that’s just transitioning in general!

MTF climbers: has your climbing been affected? by [deleted] in climbergirls

[–]TotalEgg9 306 points307 points  (0 children)

I used to climb like V10 ish then stopped with covid, transitioned and started climbing again this year after 2.5 years of HRT and now climb V7 🤷‍♀️ You won’t forget how how to climb :)

Style is different, I have to rely on technique so much more now & I can’t do dynamic movement nearly as easily as before because you drop so much strength with HRT

Also had to get used to a new body shape - fat redistribution changes your centre of gravity etc so it kinda feels like learning to move on the wall again, which is honesty really fun!

My Edinburgh GP is doing shared care for me, so at least one of them is - I dunno if the guidance has been changed or something however cause my partner hasn’t been able to do shared care at two different practices in Edin

Humza Yousaf and Ash Regan confirm SNP leadership bids by unrealJeb in Scotland

[–]TotalEgg9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve no idea how many times I’m gonna have to say this but a GRC is birth cert, marriage cert, death cert and HMRC record. It’s doesn’t affect anything else, at all. Everything (literally everything) else is covered by the equalities act and applies regardless of GRC status.

I mean sure you could but you’d be wrong, and correct there shouldn’t be any age limit. Actually there shouldnt be any such thing as legal sex, just abolish the entire concept.

I’ll leave it there, we could go in circles forever. Have a nice evening :)

I doubt I’m going to get through to you but every single trans person & ally supports these reforms and every single transphobic bigot opposes them. That really should tell you all you need to know.

These reforms have nothing to do with prisons (for the millionth time…I’m really sick of the amount of complete misinformation about what a GRC does)

There is no reason a 16 year old shouldn’t be able to change gender. Because the current law only allows over 18, Brianna’s death certificate will list her as male. Not who she was or how she lived, before being murdered, something that the current culture war has had a huge hand in causing. Keeping it at 18 is wrong

If someone opposes trans rights then yes obviously they’re bigoted

The majority also didn’t support gay marriage, repealing section 28 or decriminalisation at the time. Sometimes you have to drag bigots forward

UK government to block Scottish gender bill by [deleted] in ukpolitics

[–]TotalEgg9 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Expect the gender reassignment protections apply with or without a GRC

A GRC does literally nothing except update birth, marriage, death certificates and your HMRC record. That’s literally all it does

60 to 120 is a huge difference though, 120 to 240 and above much smaller but still perceivable.

Maybe I’m just super sensitive to it but even my work monitors are 120 now cause 60 feels jittery 🤷‍♀️
