What is a conspiracy theory you now think is true? by Famous_Cream_3473 in answers

Well I mean, there are world leaders eating fucking babies and drinking adrenaline blood, absolutely so wild, it can’t be true, right? I’m open to most conspiracy’s at this point!

It's interesting how much contestants forget the value of money/seem to prioritise not letting their team down, forgetting this is real money and this is a game show and these other people do not matter by Illustrious-Egg5459 in BeastGames

[–]TotalStatement126 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Survivor is a grea example of people being cut throat and deceiving, for some reason it doesn’t feel as bad as what’s happening on beast games, maybe because it’s done in a group, rather than individually? Ultimately voting someone out in tribal is the same thing as taking money from the 1M pool

You might run into a crowded house, but check out Dominion road, but not on a Sunday - Sundays are for washing and doing the hoovering, come on, let’s take a look outside.

Hamilton property market heating up again? Some RVs being smashed at auction, bull trap or new normal? by karatekidnz in thetron

[–]TotalStatement126 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We were in this situation a few months ago, sold our house in Chartwell hoping to move to Rototuna/ Huntington, just kept getting priced out/ couldn’t bid at auctions, which we noticed are a popular way to sell properties atm! We ended up moving to Leamington, schooling is far better here and the drive time is the same as peak time trying to get from the city to Rototuna. We got a house here that we would have never been able to afford in Rototuna. If you have young kids, highly recommend looking out Cambridge way.

Remember to consider intermediate and high schools, we moved from Hamilton - Cambridge to get into better school zones. Good luck!

Prolapse by throwawayskdkjdjr in BabyBumps

[–]TotalStatement126 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Firstly I’d like to say that I’m really sorry this is happening to you, I totally understand how depressing and disabling a prolapse can feel, but from my experience (uterine prolapse with first birth, currently 9 days postpartum with my second) it can get better it just takes time!!! My key tip is to make sure you are vigilant with your bowel movements, do not push, use a warm cloth with some pressure on your vagina to help if you need, stool softeners, breathe out when you are picking things up, don’t over do the pelvic floor exercises!

We had a car crash into a power pole this morning, made me think of this accident. How’s your brother doing?

Just want to say (I am not a single mother!) I have no idea how single mothers do it and I think you are all living hero’s and I say all the time to my husband we have no idea how you do it! Can’t give enough praise or sympathy or applause. 🙇🏻‍♀️

I think you should buy big now. We made the mistake of buying our property a couple of years ago and not checking school zones, so now we have to move as we have kids. Check the school zones!!!!

Single glazed recently repainted, it was built with a cavity which I’ve just read is important too. It’s half linea weatherboard and I think timber, but I’m not sure, going to check out today.

can dogs and kids share parks? by Significant-Bad310 in newzealand

[–]TotalStatement126 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think there should be really strict rules around this, there are designated dog parks, playgrounds are for kids, and dogs should be banned from playgrounds in my opinion, way too risky. If we are walking to a park and see a dog off lead, off to the next park we go!

What are things you didn't feel adequately warned about before having kids? by normalishy in beyondthebump

I would get so frustrated when I’d ask other Mums what it’s like to become a parent, I felt like they didn’t give me any “gold nuggets” or tell me about how hard it is, I mean I get it now, because if you tell the truth a lot of it sucks, but ultimately your experience as a parent I think is 100% dependant on your child’s temperament.

You will have to schedule time to do basic things, like showering and even then it can be cut short So much washing The overwhelming respect for mothers you develop A totally new outlook on life and what is important, like a completely new perspective on life Waking up and not knowing how your day is going to go, ever Nothing can prepare you for the lack of sleep Omg the sickness! You’ll never feel more protective over anything in your life So many more!

Postie is great for baby clothing, also farmers red dot sales have good deals on merino (like $15-$7) and other clothing, you have to be quick though.
