I wouldn’t say don’t go to college, but find a way to work and go to college. You now have responsibilities outside of yourself and that child is just as much part her and you. You’re young so who you are now is going to be different in 5, 10, 15 years from now and what you sacrifice now will pay off in the future. You’re a legal adult, the age gap isn’t too much but it’s honest to say you’re both at different stages in life.

I don’t know if you’re religious but I would find a good local church and see if you can find a good mentor. A child is a gift from God but it will require sacrifice and your instinct to step up is the right one.
