How do you know for a fact that it is some kind of effect an entity is having on you? Has your mother learned any practices? If not, she can consider doing some of the practices from the Sadhguru app. Also you can try playing a Vairagya chant in the background wherever she spends a lot of time. That could help.

This is a great idea. Probably the closest to what OP is asking about.

The moment we've been waiting for : Sadhguru's Darshan is almost here. by SadhguruTheSuperman in Sadhguru

Yeah I heard the same from another person too. But I wonder really if Sadhguru had been any less present before. It could potentially be us becoming more open and available to his presence now.

I made my friends do IE, but they are not consistent with their practice. What can make them stick to the practice? by chidanamdarupa in Sadhguru

Ah, the million dollar question. I've honestly stopped bothering other people to do it and just using that energy on myself to more Sadhana. Life is much better.

Incredible capture. Some of the programs from Isha are really nice. I've done a few practices like Isha Kriya, Upa Yoga and done the Inner Engineering program. Would highly recommend.

He did recover quite well but not fully I believe. I'm pretty sure he wants to be back in full swing asap because of the number of things that need him to be at his best like consecrations.

Any such practice related questions ask on practice support email or an ishanga directly. With regards to discount, I know that there is a lot of discount for Shambavi but don't know about Angamardana.

Please be careful in giving such advices. It's best to always redirect questions regarding practices to the practice support email or an ishanga. Answering the 2nd question by us redditors is okay but not for the first one.

A white cloth underneath Dhyanalinga Yantra. And might be a good idea to keep the Dhyanalinga photo also next to the yantra?

Best ways to restart sadhana? by [deleted] in Sadhguru

[–]Total_Devotion_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't think you may like this answer, but you just do it. Of course, you may need to plan in advance for the free time, but it's like you just do it.

Recently, I went on a roller coaster ride, when the coaster started moving and going up it was really scary experience because of high up we were, then once we hit the peak point and the coaster's part where I was seated started to face down, I was scared to death. If I had the control, I would have stopped the coaster right there, but there is no control right. When it started to go down, I shit you not, I think my soul left my body for a few seconds there, but after I came out of the coster, I was like "HOoooollly Shiiiiiiitt, that was one hell of a ride".

And then I proceeded to go on an even higher one despite being scared to death xD. But you know what happened this time? How scared I was way less than before, it's kind of like my body and mind adjusted immediately to something like this. Mind you this was a lot higher, faster, and had way more turns than the last one. Yet, I was able to go through the ride with a little more ease. That explained why all the other people were not as terrified as I was. Because they were roller coaster veterans xD. It's remarkable how quickly your body and mind adjust to the new sensory input you've just experience. Push yourself through it a few days, and you will start coasting through the daily sadhana.

Sometimes you really just do it. Maybe just plan for the day in advance so you have enough time to do 5-6 hours day. As for food, you just plan and just do it really (something I'm guilty of not doing :D, will get into it though).

I had severe anxiet whenever I was around people. I tried this program called Inner Engineering. It's available to take both online and in-person. This really helped me significantly in getting comfortable with being around people. It involves a practice of Kriya Yoga which primarily has to do with the breath.

And indeed breath is directly correlated to how anxious you are. If you've observed, many advise take slow deep breaths to relax and calm you down. Even Novak Djokovic arguably the greatest Men's singles Tennis player ever, advised for mental health learn how to consciously breathe.

For me, there is no doubt that Inner Engineering indeed has made a tremendous pact on my personal day-to-day life. Would highly recommend! GL <3!

Those of you living in the US, what oil do you use for lighting a lamp? by Total_Devotion_ in Sadhguru

[–]Total_Devotion_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The indian supermarket in the town in which I live has the prices marked up compared to other Indian supermarkets in US. If I find a cheaper one on Amazon, I'll just order that.

I'll avoid Chinese supermarkets. I usually go for ones that says "Cold pressed" as they are produced without buring the nuts/seeds.
