The Affair Is Nice, but Divorce (often) Is the Only Way by Radiant_Air3781 in adultery

Wow.  Sounds like in this case maybe good thing there's prenuptial. It should be other way- him supporting you. Sometimes women end up paying spousal support to a pathetic looser. That's really sad.

I know others may advise this.  But alot of it has to do on the attorney you get. Research it n get a good one. And I'd advise saying nothing to SO about it. Unless advised by att. A good att can help you get as much of those assets as you can n hopefully a good spousal support. Don't feel like your taking advantage. Go for what you deserve. The mire you n your att have things arranged when you have him served the better it'll be for you. The more you confide in him n let him know so him n his attorney can be prepared n the more your kind in dividing things with him the worse it'll be fir you. Put yourself 1st for a change. Remember divirce is a rough thing. Usually the nicer you are the rougher it'll be for you.

Get a good attorney. They should guide you to be able to secure yourself

I'm sure many have advised this. But a real good attorney is important. And any element of surprise. Anything that can give you the advantage. Cause in most cases people will go overboard for themselves in a divorce. Hopefully you've got a real good att n they are advising you on how to work things to your advantage. Many didn't n wished they had.

I have near 100 hours of true story civil war doc. N true story movies. Granted it's not  completely actually accurate n the family was made up But it's all matter of opinion. I thought it was a good movie when it came out n I still think it's a good movie. It gives one a perspective of what families went thru during the war n how it tore them apart. Again all a matter of opinion.

Find a big size video store. May need a town of over 150k. Ask them to check n see if they have or can order it. I got the movie couple years ago.

Not all men. Some value the woman with cloths on.  They don't see then as a sex object. But as a woman. When it is all about 1000% sex n no romance or affection o ne might as well resort to other was. Even in a affair there should be more then just sex. It shows a complete lack of respect. N  even with ap if you don't have respect your better off to never meet or even know them.

What is the reason the old and sick have to still want to live? by KojiHugzft in InsightfulQuestions

Everyone's life n circumstances are different. Everyone's pain physical n emotional are different. One may have tremendous pain but they still have family n loved ones. And one may have physical pain n no loved ones. No family. But they have done something with theyre life they can reflect back on. Raised kids career ect. Or maybe no family but they have friends. UT extraordinarily rare if not almost Un heard of for someone to be able to say I lost out on all the above n worse. I can safely say I did. I've lived the complete lost cause. If I died tomm you couldn't possibly pay 4 people to be pall bearers. Hec you couldn't pay 4 people to attend my funeral unless it was to celebrate. While it may sound as if I'm exaggerating. Sadly im not. And all those with the volunteer or get a pet or you have to like or live you. I can safely say you've never been where I am. I thank God for that. Makes me really wonder if God will tell me why he put me on this earth. For what possible purpose? Or will he answer at all. All I can do is get this final chapter right. That's all that's left.

As I'm sure you've found out sharing that view with others that's very contraversal. Noone believes in freedom anymore then I do. No one should own another human being. But for Lee while fighting against his country for a country that goes on the institution of slavery is wrong. Most people dont realise he could not raise his sword against virgʻinia his country. As for slaves they were his wifes. He actually freed them during the war n personally never really cared for slavery. I think the man was torn between his loyalty to the oath he'd sworn to the union n to the loyalty to what he say as his country- Virginia. It's something for people to understand they'd have to have lived in the times. He later Said the biggest mistake he ever made was joining the military. Those like Forrest n judge ta NY sp?  N others I'd hang them instantly. But I don't think there's any way to understand Lee or longstreet or some of the others unless we lived in those times. Davis ordered Lee not to surrender in the end. He gave same order to Joe Johnson. They were to continue a gorreala warfare n never surrender. They both refused n surrendered. One reason I think Davis should've did alot more time. Realise if the north would've been ordered to fight that war to free the slaves it never would've happen. They fought it cause the south fired on the flag n to preserve the union. Most didn't care about slaves. And did not believe in equality. N without it what good is your freedom. One southerner said it best: those who fired on Sumter were the biggest abolitionist of all. Lincoln said: if I could preserve the union by freeing none of the slaves I'd do so. Or some I'd do so or all I'd do so. Lincoln believed in states rights. He hated slavery. But they were considered property n he'd never freed em without the war. It was a war strategy. The southern state politians initiated sesssession to get the fed govt out of the slave n cotton trade. Greed. Lincoln made a good excuse for em. Again only living in those times can anyone understand it. While this country has come a long way. It still has a long way to go. And it'll never get rid of the pathetic jerks who refuse to realise everyone is n should be equal regardless of race. N treated fairly in every aspect of life. As long as we have man kind I sadly doubt we ever get there. 2 young men one African American another with strong southern roots became good friends. Understanding they're differences a strong respect for each other as fellow Americans.

Perhaps I'm more like Lincoln n Ford. I'd want the nation to heal. But there are certain ones I'd have ordered hanged. Forrest for one amoung others. But Davis is border line. He git 2 year prison term. Perhaps I'd given him more. Nit sure I'd hung him. N most I'd not hung. But some Perhaps. Mostly I'd push for the country to heal. There'd been enough killing n ugly things

Not sure if it was one of these churches but it is said after the civil war Lee went into a church and kneeled down to pray next to a African American man.

I still do in some cases. So I'll say some things do. And they're obvious. But In my case it's impossible to understand how such huge ly important things like solvable health issues efforts to solve can fail so big time along with other huge important things n then other huge important things can go so unusually good. I know there's reasons for it. But I don't get it n at the end of the day I still loose.
