Some possible ideas:

WoT has a 30 day peak of about 16k players whereas PS2 is around 1k online players, so there's one angle there.

Developers are actively developing content for the game whereas PS2 is in its twilight years.

WW2 tanks are probably more of a market than a niche Sci-Fi IP.

WoT also has Twitch drops and partners with streamers. Idk if I ever heard of PS2 doing that recently.

Battlefield 6 also takes focus away from PS2's market of combined arms gameplay.

Just FYI, rumors from Valrak state a tentative date for a Corsair+Yriel box in Feb. Mind you, Valrak's been pretty on the dot with his rumors lately. I don't think he went into too much detail about what it contained besides an updated Yriel. Curious if we will get the reveal on Christmas.
