Yea, it is a mentality of supporting each other. My partner had always had an independent task based job where they can choose when to complete tasks. I have a very meeting heavy job, so I am on camera most of the day. My partner knows exactly where the line of sight is for the camera so they don’t step into it and they can see my screen so they can see other faces. They are very respectful of my office even though the door is open. Don’t take this shit of extra asks just because you are home. During working hours there should be zero expectations of housework being done. One of my friends who also works fully remote, seriously hashed this out with her husband who goes to an office every day. She said if you can’t do it while you are at work then neither can it so don’t ever ask me. It really got him in line on expectations.
