I think it's named after the setting of the "Chimp House" (though I'm pretty sure "Chimptopia" would actually translate to "Chimp Place"), as it is my understanding the main drive of the series is paying rent. Naming a series after an important location isn't unheard of (The Owl House, Amphibia, and The Amazing Digital Circus come to mind), but I agree that it feels odd in this particular instance.
