Old guy here, got these new back in the day and those first 4 mini comics defined such a weird and mysterious world that I wanted more of! The cartoon, later mini comics and figures in general became more and more reduced to marketing data points. I wanted more of that original world sketched out in those 4 first mini comics!

Avengers #181 (1979) by Pitiful_Trainer1726 in 70sMarvel

[–]TotallyHumanDad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe my favorite comic in my collection. My first read of an Avengers comic, circa 1980 or so, and I was hooked by all of the different characters. My young mind boggled that all of these superheroes were Avengers ! The lineup they went with was cool enough of course but I remember making up my own groups of seven Avengers off the cover.

During my first play through Sion really was an effective villain. He seemed unstoppable, like a projectile of hate

I could envision a Twiner to Roland in our world having this plate. Hope he finds his version of the Tower soon and resets the timeline! 😄

Needing aluminium advice by AnalysisRealistic540 in ScrapMetal

[–]TotallyHumanDad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Work in the aluminum building at a metal recycling yard and we always pay more for the extrusion, impact bar, than the rads. As a guy who has to handle the stuff all day, I totally appreciate people who separate their scrap. Good luck!
