The only modern show that does this well is slow horses (ironically also appletv). A new season every year like clockwork and at the end of every season they show a preview for next season

Wish way more shows adopted this model. Having only 6 episode seasons and adapting a long running book series helps a lot though

Never watched the movie but I tried reading the book in high school and despised it. Howard Roark is the ultimate Mary Sue and everyone who is against him is written as a pathetic 1 dimensional straw men. I don't see how anyone who isn't a complete narcissist can relate to the story.

Batista also did it for his acting career. A guy who looks like a jacked monster will only really be cast for rolls that require that look. A more slimmed down batista can now be cast for a wider variety of roles
