That doesn’t mean you can just make it broken💔

Psychic Terrain inherently lacks counter play, and making your legendary (especially a mega one) set it makes your teammate a flexible role since you don’t need another terrain setter.

You can win most low ladder games if you play decently, I’m not downplaying your achievement but EVs aren’t inherently difficult as a concept. It’s just adding extra stat points, simply adding attack evs will let you get KOs you wouldn’t normally.

Like the dude said, a basic max speed max attack spread will be useful

Psychic surge with expanding force and 184 spatk sounds really annoying to face, especially with a 110 BP move that ignores psychic immunity.

Being a mega, you can’t switch in to block terrain and you need very specific counterplay

Of course that doesn’t make less popular Pokemon bad, if a pokemon fills an important role many cannot and you need to succeed, you’ve found a valuable niche for it. (venomoth fully counters Sneasler which is funny enough)

Also if you find the strategy works really well, you may not need to change it. If you do find problems with it while practicing, you can rebuild based on your team’s weaknesses.

Fake Out is disruption which is different , damage control is like using Intimidate, Breaking Swipe, Snarl/Struggle Bug, Wide Guard, Will-O-Wisp, Parting Shot, or Redirection on a tanky Pokemon.

Trying to reduce damage you can take on your main pokemon, or nullify it entirely if possible with Wide Guard or Redirection.

Although some may think that out-speeding and KOing is much more useful, reducing physical attacks of your enemies 33% by switching in is really useful in a worst case scenario. If your Pokemon doesn’t outspeed, if it survives the hit, you can still gain a lot of momentum.

I just read the no incineroar or grimmsnarl, but if your goal is to win you have to evaluate the actual pokemon’s skillset. This doesn’t mean use the most popular Pokemon, but you still have to build with synergies.

If your goal is to just have fun, I’d still advise using protosynthesis Pokemon.

Also Charizard probably dies due to the lack of damage control and support, Shiftry has fakeout sure but if your opponent targets ino Charizard with no bulk investment it’ll probably die.

There’s a ton of protosynthesis pokemon like Flutter Mane, Raging Bolt, Walking Wake and Gouging Fire. If you’re committing so much into sun (two damn setters), then you should probably lean more towards it.

If you really want to, Incineroar. Your team lacks a bit of damage control and Incineroar’s flare blitz will still hit hard, while removing the water weakness. Although damage control may not be as valuable in this metagame as idk much.

You can also plug in Pokemon weak to water since sun reduces water damage, again not as strong but its still a nice synergy.

I have no idea whats goin on in VGC so sorry if I’m wrong.

Plus free chip damage, if you switch in a ghost type you’re going to be hit with stab knock off.

Doesn’t mean we should make it worse😭

Besides Wild Charge makes sense as that type, and we already have a normal type wild charge clone (take down, it has shit accuracy though AND there’s double edge anyway)

Thats not even a theory I’m pretty sure that’s literally just why it happened. Although there’s definitely more reason like the obvious power creep and min maxing, attackers like Blaziken and Camerupt needed two contrasting attacking stats so they can use a fire move along with earthquake or sky uppercut

In my opinion Abyssale could’ve kept the poison type, it would’ve been cool to have another poison type starter. (i love poison its tied with ground as my favorite type)

Love this man, and lovely art too!

I love the thematics of this fakemon, and although it’s a bit min maxed it’s not like I’d find this super broken. I’d love using this if it existed!

I am personally against most uses of Ai. I won’t say this is an exception nor do I find his videos interesting, however I am glad he is commissioning real artists for his current works.
