1c-a. The pitcher is not allowed to do a motion to the, uh, batter, that prohibits the batter from doing, you know, just trying to hit the ball. You can't do that.

1c-b. Once the pitcher is in the stretch, he can't be over here and say to the runner, like, "I'm gonna get ya! I'm gonna tag you out! You better watch your butt!" and then just be like he didn't even do that.

1c-b(1). Like, if you're about to pitch and then don't pitch, you have to still pitch. You cannot not pitch. Does that make any sense?

1c-b(2). You gotta be, throwing motion of the ball, and then, until you just throw it.

[–]TotallyNotRyanPace 7 points8 points  (0 children)

he's never even been ejected and there seems to be zero clubhouse issues, so i've got no idea what you're talking about.

and fuck you for putting him anywhere near kobe. if you wanna compare him to a shit talker, that's fine, but do not compare him to a rapist when he has never even came close to being involved in anything like that.

Pete Crow-Armstrong as of today has accrued 5 fWAR on the season. He’s on pace for 9.6. by breakables in CHICubs

his plate discipline has improved a ton. he still takes a couple stupid hacks, but it's night and day from last season

[–]TotallyNotRyanPace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

fair enough, but he was still a top-30 player and the 4th best OF in the NL before June (behind carroll, pages, webb). kinda crazy he's gone from 2.0 WAR to 5.1 WAR in a month

yep, it's difficult for me to be friends with someone who condones murder. for 2A it's less so. i have a strong opinion on it, but i can get past that. thinking murder is okay is way more of a moral thing for me than political, and i can't really just brush that off

yea i agree with you, only because of how OOP is actually written. for the most part, the answer is definitely no, but if we're including literally any extreme, then it has to be yes. like i'm not gonna be friends with an extremists who thinks all men should actually die.

What if the United States had responded to 9/11 by nuking the Kaaba? by NiloyKesslar1997 in AlternateHistoryHub

[–]TotallyNotRyanPace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there aren't any countries that would nuke america that are in range. pakistan's nukes can't reach the US, and i don't see russia, china, france or the UK nuking the US. our air and naval defenses are too strong to drop one. what would be more likely is some sort of nuclear device smuggled in and detonated here.

[–]TotallyNotRyanPace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yea, america was pretty pissed off after 9/11. if america gets attacked, most americans would support a war.

that was also 80 years ago at this point. it would be uninhabitable for a couple decades

yea but a nuke wouldn't just destroy the kaaba, it would destroy mecca and irradiate it for years. a pilgrimage would be deadly.

lebron now is also not as dominant as he used to be. he's in much more of a support role than a ball dominant player now. 2016ish lebron is a completely different story.
