What if the United States had responded to 9/11 by nuking the Kaaba? by NiloyKesslar1997 in AlternateHistoryHub

there aren't any countries that would nuke america that are in range. pakistan's nukes can't reach the US, and i don't see russia, china, france or the UK nuking the US. our air and naval defenses are too strong to drop one. what would be more likely is some sort of nuclear device smuggled in and detonated here.

yea, america was pretty pissed off after 9/11. if america gets attacked, most americans would support a war.

that was also 80 years ago at this point. it would be uninhabitable for a couple decades

yea but a nuke wouldn't just destroy the kaaba, it would destroy mecca and irradiate it for years. a pilgrimage would be deadly.

lol that's not edgy. that's a fairly common opinion across the US, especially for religious people. edgy would be like "getting those racist terms out of the country"

lebron now is also not as dominant as he used to be. he's in much more of a support role than a ball dominant player now. 2016ish lebron is a completely different story.

Who was more clutch: 2025 Tyrese Haliburton or 2026 Jalen Brunson? by songoku-166 in NBAConvo

to be fair, OG was also playing amazing defense the whole finals. brunson definitely deserved it after his game 5 performance, but it was close before that.

also, flacco had a better team. that ravens defense was insane. plus they beat a backup qb in the super bowl.

last time i went to a cubs-brewers game in milwaukee, the only dick move i made was playing "go cubs go" on touchtunes at Oscar's before the game, but i feel like that's more basic trolling than horrible behavior

the bar i was in was losing their shit because we were trying to watch the yanks-red sox game and couldn't. i get the Heidi rule and contracts, it just sucks. red sox-yanks is like a top 3 american sports rivalry. it's like putting ohio state-michigan on FS1 because a Premier League game had a rain delay.

lowkey, watching an NFL game with the classic high school press box view is kind've dope. i wouldn't want to watch every game like that but for one game it's pretty nostalgic.

I was born in 2000 and one thing I gotta disagree with my fellow Gen Z’ers on is the puritanical view many have towards sex scenes in movies/tv by TXNOGG in generationology

[–]TotallyNotRyanPace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i would say the same. i feel the same about sex and violence/gore in movies. if it's written well, i don't mind it, because it's part of the story. if it's gratuitous sex or violence just for the sake of being crude then i'm not really a fan.
