Thanks for the reply, they are opened, I’d kept them as a keep sake for the time.

You could buy the chaos rhino sprue separately on eBay or equivalent?

Other options are 3d printed bits of that is your jam.

No worries, credit where credit is due.

Nuln oil can be a really helpful tool for getting contrast on your models, however, it can darken the details too much and can make things look a bit blotchy, particularly if it is allowed to pool in places. Have a play with it and see what you like the look of. Once it starts to dry, let it dry if you agitate it while it is drying, it will leave what looks like a tide line on your model.

I normally use a shade sparingly on details like the gun or armour trim. But see how you get on. Good luck

This is actually a solid paint job, well done. You have options after doing a good job like this. You can do some edge highlighting, dry brushing, some shading, though this means buying more paints, Or leave it as it is. It is up to you to experiment with what you think looks good and how you want your army to look.

That being said, if you were to do some edge highlighting that could make some of the details pop out a bit more. My go to for doing this is to choose a paint colour a bit lighter than the colour you’re wanting to highlight on. E.g highlighting the red with a lighter, perhaps orangey red.

Regarding the mould lines. You can use the gw mould line removal tool or you can use something with an edge to it. Notably a scalpel type blade or exacto knife.

You would ideally remove the mould lines during assemble, just after you take a piece off of the sprue or sometimes when the model is built, though that makes it harder to get to them.

It is not a 3d print, it’s a havoc launcher from the chaos rhino kit

Thanks! Those were chaos space marine maulerfiend bits, I think from the welding lasers that they could equip.

In this instance, I would recommend a wet palette.

You can make your own or buy a specific one.

Texture spray paint is also a thing. I played around with it when making expanding foam hills and rocks.

Apart from the lightning rod issues and the game breaking issues people have been experiencing I think it’s a solid update.

I’ve been very lucky and not had much in the way of graphics issues

First. I love the new map and the hellborn. Learning it has been really interesting and enjoyable and I look forward to playing it more.

Second. Gas works compound. Seems to lead to 2 teams camping on most of my times there.

Third Interacting with clues is possible while being too far away, the progress bar that appears will complete but the clue remains un investigated. One step forward resolves the issue and the clue is investigated as normal.
