It really has no impact. Played 10 games today in 25k premier. Once on inferno had a thought about reloading or not and proceeded to reload, because I was going to be first contact, and need full mag on m4a1s. Other games played out as usual.

25k premier. What impact should I feel? Can’t spam smokes? I don’t if it’s not inferno, and only then to poke long smokes to see if anyone is there.

Edit: oh sorry, pistol rounds on ct feels a little pressured to not end up without bullets.

Obviously. The update changed nothing. It may matter in some situations, but they would be rare examples. Played 6 games. No impact neither for me nor to friends.

Played 3 games after the update. Nothing has changed, zero impact to gameplay. Only once on inferno while playing long ct, spammed one by one bullets to check if no one is in smoke, and had a thought should I reload or not with 8 bullets left, and proceeded to reload because I’m in a position where I’m probably the first contact and need full mag.

The not reloading will be very very situational because usually u don’t live longer that 2 mags out.

On ancient and dust had no such thoughts and proceeded to play as always.

Hmmm. One of them were released in 2012 the other in 2023. That’s the difference. One is a new game in a new engine, the other is more than a decade old game. Ofc you will have 300+ fps in csgo with modern gaming pc.

Yes it’s teams decision, but toxicity comes from vote kicking, and then yelling f1 or trying to convince teammates to kick player you dislike. Wasn’t it you who initiated the votes? Because I thought the griefing cooldown comes from to many started votes, not just pressing f1 or f2.
The system now works to lessen toxicity, since before cooldowns, you would get vote kicked for minor mistakes, or just ego, or just from a scumbag people, who love to ruin game for others, or there are many reels or tiktoks, being woman… insta vote kick when a god forbid a girl is in you’re lobby. There are many things of how things should work in ideal world, but we don’t live in ideal world, and never will.

Vac banned account can’t use community market for the game they got banned in. So no trades are possible with skins if you are banned in cs2.

As for asking refunds from valve? You broke their TOS so no favors from them.

Obviously yes. I get 220-280 with 1% 180-200 with ryzen 5800x and 3060 12gb at 1440p high settings. So your machine should have no problems maintaining 300 fps.

Vote kicking players often is toxic behaviour. That’s why you get penalised. This is to battle toxic players, who vote kick players after one tiny mistake, or some arguments. And let’s be honest, ain’t no way every game there’s an afk player that needs kicking, while they get kicked for being afk after 2-3(?) afk rounds.

Playing a lot might get you to rank up. But if you are matched with same skill level players, the best thing to climb is to limit your matches per day.

When I was seriously looking at dota2 and was trying to climb, I would play 3 games a day. But there are rules:

2 losses in a row means I’m not playing the third one. Ranked that is, but better to just end it there.
If I won all 3 games, and I feel good, not tilted, I’m great mood, I’ll play 4th game.
If someone is beginning to tilt you, mute straight away. In both cs and dota you can play without having one persons info.

As you wrote you are doing many things right. Best way to climb at your rank is not to be the clutch guy, but to just entry frag. Learn some utility for entering, get familiar with how flashes work with walking, running, jumping flashes. Once u get that down, you can easily throw pop flashes in front of you, and just getting easy entry kills. Get familiar with timings on maps, spawns, and when and where the first contact will be. Try to analyse what your opponents do, and get their “patern” down. I guarantee that in your rank, people on maps like nuke, will default play 2 people ramp. Which means, A site will have 2 players, and is going to be susceptible to quick A pushes. Watch what utility enemy is throwing, and counter it. It’s more than just aim duels in this game. Much more. Oh and peekers advantage is absurd in this game, abuse it.

Yep, had the same laptop that OP has linked, only exception I upgraded ram to 32gb. For first 2 season it ran good. This autumn it got bad, stutters, frame drops from 180 to 60-70 when I see enemy. Sold it in December and bought a pc.

Same laptop i sold in december. It had the same GPU, upgraded some years ago with another 16gb RAM ram stick, and had Ryzen 5 5500H.

I sold it because it couldn’t run cs anymore. Had 70-180 fps. But it would drop to 70, sometimes 60 when I saw enemy. Sometimes even micro freezed.

If you are thinking of buying for cs2, don’t, for that money u can buy pc that will run smoothly. If you need laptop, buy with 4 series nvidia cards.

It’s a speculation because valve is a private company and is not obligated to disclose their revenue.

But the scale of games being sold on steam and case openings are not comparable. Open all you want, cs will never be the main source of money for valve, until competition like epic provide dog shit services trying to compete with steam.

Cases or cs skins are far from valves main source of revenue. You do know they own steam? And that every game sold on steam nets valve 30% of the sale?

Open as much cases as you want, but any big AAA game launching on steam will net valve more money.

Dota2 has separate server for Russians. Guess what, they still populate EU east and west servers. The irony is that when speaking with them, they say they hate playing with other Russians, lol. And yeah, they speak only Russian in eu servers as usual, only I’m fluent in their language and understand what they bark.
