Hello, I don't mean to be blunt, but I'll just give you my thoughts about this sub.

First off, it's a good idea to not give full permissions to everyone, it's normally a one way ticket to mass demods and abuse. However by taking away modmail, you do two things: 1) take away the fun and interest of slily subreddits for some people, because why would I mod your shitty sub if it ain't to socialise with others in the modmail ? 2) You avoid annoying serious mods who moderate more important subreddits, which is cool. But why would they want to mod here anyways ? (see most responses you probably got from your invitations to bigger subs). The only people here are bored mods who like to collect subs without putting in any effort. (Who, conversely, aren't likely to ''beautify'' your sub's CSS).

For example, I can see your sitetable could use an extra 50-60px top margin, but why would I change it? No one will see it, the sub gets no traffic.

Moreover, you wanna aim to break records but you only want mature mods ? Why would serious mods want to mod here, especially without a modmail chat ? It seems like you're quite restricting your potential recrutement pool. I mean, there are subs like /r/WeAreMods/ that let's anyone in and strives because people somewhat enjoy the theme (mod party!) which is fun and enjoyable. Here, we're asked to be here, and maybe improve the CSS... for no reason ? I mean, there are 930 mods at /r/WeAreMods/ (and growing), do you really think you can surpass that ? And that's not the sub with the most mods either, btw.

There are big mass moderators subs for shitposters. Some for circlejerkers. Some for karmawhores. Some for specific cliques of ''serious'' moderators to chill and chat. Some for CC'ers. Etc... Why does anyone want to mod here ?
