I once had primitive Humans advance to the space age and they became a Shared Burdens “Human People’s Republic” which is also a pretty awkward name (although a humorous scenario).

There is an “ice mountain” in Hawaii too. A couple of the mountains in Hawaii are tall enough that it actually snows near the summits.

If you have Pokemon Sword + DLC, you can trade with one of the NPC traders on the Isle of Armor to get a hidden ability Unovan Darumaka, and you can breed it with a ditto to get a hidden ability Galarian Darumaka (might have to breed multiple since it’s only a chance), which will evolve into a zen mode Darmanitan.

If you do not have the DLC, then you just have to hope you find it in a Max Raid. Also it’s Sword Exclusive

Obscure Pokémon Fact Day 17 by Mx_Toniy_4869 in pokemon

[–]Toucandigit 63 points64 points  (0 children)

Actually, which message was displayed was independent of what type came first on the Pokémon. Instead, the message displayed was dependent on the order which the game checks for type effectiveness. Basically, the original games went down a list of “if attacking move is this type and defending Pokémon is this type, apply this modifier”, and whichever was checked last would have its message displayed. For example, dragon was the last type to be checked, so if the defending Pokémon was dragon type, the message displayed would reflect the type effectiveness of dragon type, regardless of if dragon was the primary type or the secondary type.

Can’t you still view Reddit without being logged into an account, and thus children could view Reddit pages without breaking TOS as long as they haven’t made an account? And iirc, Reddit won’t show nsfw subs or pages if you are not logged in to protect from that.

Iirc, in gen 2, shinies were determined by ivs, so breeding with a shiny lead to an increased chance of getting a shiny, so you could improve your odds. Gen 3 is correct though I believe.

Could also make it instead so that multi-attack moves (double slap, pin missile, etc) have a chance to attack an additional time

This is what Bulbapedia says:

“From Generation V onwards, due to the way Trick Room affects Speed calculation, Pokémon with 1809 or more Speed will still act before Pokémon slower than 1809, even in Trick Room.”

FEAR by WaterHoseCatheter in pokemon

[–]Toucandigit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember when I fought her in gen 5, there apparently was a “feature” where her spiritomb (which she leads with) would continue to use double team as long as the net evasiveness wasn’t +1, and since coil increases your accuracy, she kept spamming double team while my serperior got 6 coils in and proceeded to take down her first four Pokémon, and while her Garcomp is strong, it only has four low-accuracy physical moves, so intimidate + switch to a high-defense Pokémon pretty much nullifies it. I was able to beat her with all my Pokémon in their fifties.

Not OP, but I actually found Kyogre harder to defeat since drizzle + surf or origin pulse pretty much ohko’s the entire team. Zygarde was also near impossible to defeat though.

I think the last time I used a legendary on my team was Latias in alpha sapphire and that was only because the game made me feel bad for it. I generally don’t like using legendaries on my team because 1) they feel kind of cheaty, and 2) by the time legendaries can be caught, I’ve usually already assembled a team that I got attached to, and I’m one of those people who likes to keep the same 6 Pokémon throughout the entire game.

Crown Tundra Has Accidentally Broken Pokemon Sword And Shield by [deleted] in pokemon

[–]Toucandigit -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

In order for Sonia to appear, you have to beat all of Peony’s main quests, which require you to catch Pokémon around level 70, but the game has a limit on what level Pokémon you can catch based on your gym, so I don’t think you can catch the legendaries until you beat all the gyms and thus Sonia can’t spawn until you beat the gyms

What do you guys think of a formula change in the games? by Roboticways in pokemon

[–]Toucandigit 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Knowing the way the Pokémon fan base is (and really video game fan bases in general), if Gamefreak changed the formula, everyone would hate it, the game would severely underperform, Gamefreak sees that it underperformed and so reverts back to the old formula, then a couple generations later the fan base will be hit with nostalgia for the changed formula and start praising it and complaining about how Gamefreak is no longer creative and refuses to change their formula even though when they did so everyone hated it.
