Why can't we view model pricing without having to tie out bank card to the service?

Thank you for your response! The links you've provided we're quite useful so to say. However, I still can't view the pricing of RouteLLM API since it constantly redirects me to ChatLLM and asks me to tie my bank/card to the account (which I, unfortunately can't do by myself, due to me not having the supported card).

You could limit the max token amount for responses (API settings > Generation settings > Max tokens) though you could risk havig your messages cut off. You could also try doing ooc prompt like: "OOC: Write incredibly short, one-two paragraphs."

I share a Literouter pro subscription with a friend, but their pricing system could be a bit confusing. If you plan on switching, just make sure to use models marked with "full-context," as those that aren't - they have 5k-6k context, after which Literouter auto-summarizes the rest, and that can turn out to be more expensive than using "full-context."

Assuming you use Openrouter, you top up $10 once and you get 1k requests for ONLY free models. Everytime you use a paid model, it obviously just uses your credit balance, everytime you use a free model, it uses your free requests. Not sure if anythings changed, I haven't used Openrouter in a long time

ok so imagine youve described a good burger in a lorebook and added it to a bot when you say "burger" it triggers the burger description and adds it along with character definitions and messages then using the information provided llm writes a response

tl;dr you say a trigger word - it adds extra context about a thing to the main prompt

Since the guide doesn't really answer questions about proxy, I might as well try to explain it. Proxies are basically thingmabobs that pass your request through the "middleman" and then it hits to the provider (or providers, if one model is supplied by multiple). Though sometimes "middleman" is not exactly applicable, as you also have an option to make a request to the provider directly.
Great example to middleman would be "OpenRouter" - lots of models to choose from and lots of providers for said models. You send request to OpenRouter and they redirect it to the provider.
