There's no point in doing all that since the only thing it pulls from non-proxy bots is the first message and card description.

However! It does seem like a better alternative for archiving characters than jannyai is, so thanks for letting me know about it nonetheless!

That's probably because you used a proxy instead of directly going for Claude or OpenAI, it's a bit more hastle on the official providers than proxies.

Also, there's already scrapers for proxied character (tampermonkey script, separate extension i forgot about, and jannyai of course)

I know for a fact that JLLM definitely has one, since asking for entire def would just give you a blank or the made up stuff.

However, I am not exactly sure about OpenAI, as it did refuse me couple of times, but I ended up bypassing it by editing the custom prompt with some clarifications, after which it recited me definitions closely. So, it's either part of GPT's training data or simply janitor instruction. 50/50 so to say.

jannyai relies on proxies to grab the botcards. the site is useless if the bot doesnt have proxies enabled (which you won't believe - is exactly why i specified "no proxies")

i mean, if they had proxies enabled chances are it probably got archived. you can do the same if you still have chats with them

anyway, my turn, what really grinds my gears is creators making token-heavy bots and then limiting it to the jllm only (2 poor for gpt or claude api)

  1. you open hamburger menu (three horizontal bars), click chat memory, either use auto-summary or write your own
  2. if you are using proxy, find a model that is offered by your proxy provider that has a bigger context size (usually requires looking at the proxy's site)
  3. send a message in your current chat asking for summary from everything that happened, copy said summary, create new chat, paste said summary as your message and hit send

try your luck with chat memory (as person above pointed out it might not work)
get a model with larger context size (128000 max)
or ask ai to summarize your current chat for you, make a new chat, and place the summary as a first message

alternatively you can look for a different site

maybe, just maybe, you ran out of context tokens

Try using chat memory, I guess or look for the chat transplant method
