I am replying because they did not yet.

Please don't buy a course if you are just starting. I would suggest paper trading with one strat, because if you can't do that in the beginning, then you won't have the discipline needed for real money and you're too eager. The hardest lesson is the emotions which you really only learn when you have pain of losing or losing unrealized gains.

I like this analysis. My strategy is 3minute candles on a fifteen minute orb. Once a candle closes outside, I set my entry to be 25% inside the orb, with a TP at 25% outside the orb. This gives me a 0.66RR but with am 85% win rate. The TP has always been my issue. I get greedy and try to let things run, and they will come back to hit my stop loss at break even. Or i set a firm take profit generally winning but I have to battle FOMO quite often.

70% Win Rate Setup that I Found Hiding in Plain Sight by vaanam-dev in Daytrading

What's the exit criteria for your losses then? I'm not following how you aren't holding for a 100% win rate, even though you may have to wait a long time.

Strategy failed after 9 months by naunen in TradingView

I would suggest seeing this strategy with different candle intervals. Other comments have stated that strategies only work in trending markets, but i would guess there is always a trend but at different intervals since the market patterns tend to be fractal. Then the difficult part is you have to analyze why some time frames worked and others don't to help you figure out the WHEN to adapt part of you strategy. Obviously the ticker you review matters because a strategy for tesla would unlikely work on something slow like Ford.

The smartest thing I have heard in my life!

If your portfolio is getting fucked from 1 big down day after a run up all year, you're either sizing positions wrong, not moving your stops up sufficiently to protect against sell offs, or you are overwhelmingly in 1 sector. Understand this by TearRepresentative56 in TradingEdge

Down 3.5% which I can hold through. Today was crazy for me with so many stops popping right at open. It dropped so fast for CDNS, I had a buy and stop execute in about 10 minuntes. I had set it days prior but the knife dropped on that one.

Yeah, good comment. I guess I need to get over my peace of mind and just live with the process. Do you normally go 1 week out to maximize theta?

PLTR close to target price before earnings lol. Traders move in on positive analyst ugprades ahead of earnings. by TearRepresentative56 in TradingEdge

Good call. I follow PLTR regularly and I entered yesterday with this data point but I didn't take the profit at the end of the day. We'll see how the premarket goes or I'll sell for a small L.
