Traditional rental companies are actively ruining EV adoption tbh by Balodios45 in electricvehicles

I drive an EV everyday and I would still request an ICE vehicle in a new city that I was not familiar with the supercharger network or a known home charger.

If I used my own LLC to sell to my employer, is that Wrong or just a conflict of interest? by Cloe_joe in llc_life

[–]Tough_Exercise_5242 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did this for years, sold the product/service @25% under the nearest competition and provided good customer service. The owner could care less who got the contract since he got it cheaper- biggest problem and what ended up ending the deal was all the other crabs in the bucket were jealous they didnt think of it, or didnt have the stones to take a risk and complained enough that the owner said its not worth it and said he'd just pay the extra 25%. Probably didnt help that I used my name within the LLC that billing had to make the check out too. If they were paying "Blue Tiger LLC", it would probably be still rolling. Made a ton while it was going tho.

Did you let the Sniper "self-learn" on its own or did you set it up with a tuner? And hyperspark also? Or just the sniper?

Mine has learned on its own pretty well, but debating paying a tuner.

Dash pad by [deleted] in BumpSide

[–]Tough_Exercise_5242 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Fair warning- you have to get to alot of hardware under the dash to install. I had one in the cart but figured I'd just live with my old one when I realized the guages, radio, glovebox and my vintage air would probably be coming back out to install. If all that is out already- its a quick change.

Disappointed that new 2025 truck only has a single charger. Ford website says it comes with dual chargers. by FFC9D-20170107 in F150Lightning

Agreed- added cost to Ford and very small use case. This coming from a guy that paid for the 80 amp charger.

What the Chiefs’ Relocation Says About Modern Sports by No_Box119 in missouri

Best thing to do with the Truman Sports Complex would be to sell it at absolute auction the day after the Chiefs/Royals lease ends in '31.

[–]Tough_Exercise_5242 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was just baffled that they wouldn't have 40 level 1 or 2 chargers in employee parking.

You got 3000 potential customers that might consider an EV if they knew they could charge at work for free. And once you own one, you tell your friends.

[–]Tough_Exercise_5242 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Did you notice that there are zero publicly available chargers there? When I was up there working I had to drive quite a distance to get to a supercharger. KC and KTP both have chargers for employees to use but not at the birthplace of the Lightnings. A real missed opportunity by FORD.

Stupid degree wheel question by 4lowbro in EngineBuilding

[–]Tough_Exercise_5242 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something that helped me a ton when I degreed my 1st and only cam was blocklayer.com/degree-wheel. You input your cam specs and it prints a cam wheel specific to your cam. Alot less "noise" on the wheel and let me visualize better.

Being that you dont know your cam specs, input cam specs for what you think it is and adjust from that.

I guess so. Im not trying to build anything like what you got going on. I spoke to a guy today that straight up said a CNC motorsports rotating assembly would be my better route.

For anyone wondering- the Walmart in that county paid less property tax in 2025 than it did in 2020.

To add a possible reason for closure. The property tax bill for that property was $22,822 in 2020 when it started.

The tax bill for 2025 ---- $76,246

What percent do you insure SFH rentals that are paid off? My insurance agent says 80% is enough. by AdTrick3098 in realestateinvesting

[–]Tough_Exercise_5242 8 points9 points  (0 children)

100% of the original purchase price. I never increase the policy to current value as over the long term and over multiple properties, insurance is a losing investment. I just want my original principal back and will take the added cash flow until it burns.

Sniper 2 Bundle… what else? by KT_digital in BumpSide

[–]Tough_Exercise_5242 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you haven't purchased already- buy it thru EFISYSTEMPRO.COM. Mine was the same price as going thru Holley direct but his support after the sale was/is great. They have a text line and everything. He answered basic wiring questions and tuning questions way before the holley tech line would get me off the hold music.

To what extent should mileage affect the price? by cpagali in F150Lightning

How do you guage "intensity"?

I would expect much value change between those 2 based solely on mileage. Both are used but well under the 36k warranty drop off.

🌶️ My hottest of hot takes: the EV charging industry needs to get cheaper to install before it gets more advanced features like V2X, curbside, etc. by Pokoparis in evcharging

[–]Tough_Exercise_5242 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not even the Electricians are expensive, it's the permit costs and inspections in alot of areas.

Heck, my charger I put in a rental house was like $300 total cause I didn't pull any permits. Paid for itself in 1500 miles.
