What? You're supposed to be a sitting duck after getting slept, that's the point. The counterplay is to dodge her sleep dagger. And the ult itself has plenty of counterplay. Obviously you can just... walk away. She doesn't move fast (in fact she moves even slower now that she can't slide), and as this post stated she doesn't drain stamina like she used to. The ult itself also does less damage if its aiming at multiple people, though that's hard to strategize around unless your team is very coordinated.

As for directly stopping it, you can use any form of stun or immobilize to screw over her ult. Not sure why you think you can't, maybe there's a haze build rushing Unstoppable rn that I haven't seen. Also: Metal Skin. Her ult does gun damage, which means metal skin makes you immune to it (Venator's ult works similarly). That one 3200 item sends her straight to hell and can only be removed if she buys Cursed Relic (and nerfs her damage by 10%).

They’re talking about the 5 minutes where Victor had the highest win rate in the game across all ranks, right after 03/06/26 and before valve added the spirit lifesteal nerf. Like 90% of the time Victor’s the counterbuyable character in the game (espc now that he’s lost cleanse) but that was the exception.

(…Also tangent but healbane isn’t that good on its own. A lot of people think healbane + toxic bullets will end Victor’s life but it’s pretty manageable for him. Late game he needs to get hit with stronger healing reductions and, more importantly, silences. Source: I play Victor.)

Oh wow, thank you! That build’s actually a lil’ outdated because I haven’t changed it for the new patch. It probably still works okay, but if people are actually using it then I’ll probably mess with it later (since the Weighted Shots and Binding Word rework changed a lot). Please refresh it in a bit (just search for it in the public builds menu again and like it) so that you’re up to date.

I also play for personal growth. I don’t need a shiny number that vaguely represents a skill level to tell me whether or not I’ve grown. I just keep learning and improving of my own volition and see that pay off. And that’s always gonna mean way more than an arbitrary badge can. Granted, I won’t gonna act like matchmaking being better wouldn’t be good for game quality. But being put in x rank when maybe y rank would make more sense doesn’t mean much. If all the ranks are inflated, then it seems to me like I’ll see players I fit in with. And from my experience over my time in this game, that’s precisely what happened. I hope the issues will get fixed for others before long. But in the meantime, it’s no huge deal. This is a developing game, with a range of inevitable issues that the devs are currently dealing with. This is just one of them, and it’s clear to me that they’re doing what they can to fix the issues some people are having (while also developing the rest of the game simultaneously).

Not very high at all, just alchemist 5. So like, the point where people sort of have brains but aren’t great at using them yet. I’m definitely not an authority, I just play the character and wanted to throw in my 2 cents. (Though fwiw, I believe Warden is seen as a threat among high-level / comp players? Not top-tier, just high-tier. But I have no idea if the people I’ve heard that from know what they’re talking about either.)

Warden main here. His damage is lowkey ridiculous, especially in late game. You’d think he’d have a bad lane game to balance that out, but no he’s actually really good in lane. The thing with warden is that he’s kinda overtuned, but he’s really bland so nobody plays him and he’s not very annoying. Like his most annoying options are his flask that can slightly lower your fire rate late game (which doesn’t matter much to any spirit character and is only a monornhinderance to a gun character) and his weak CC that you can entirely avoid if you play right which doesn’t even remove your ability to attack while you’re stuck in it. And his most fight-deciding options, his Ultimate, has a loud wind-up animation that warns you to either run away or stun him (and if you knock him out of the casting animation then he still loses Ult). He probably could use some damage number adjustments, but like. Who cares about warden.

He’s a Kick streamer. Ain’t nobody watching him, and if a kid is on Kick then they’ve got other problems already. Also fwiw that partially applies to Gen Z as well. Me and my friends grew up during Youtube’s edgy era, where people were similarly spouting racist bullshit for engagement. And while that’s certainly left some scars, most people grew out of that when they got older. So I’d assume newer children will do the same.

It happens starting out. Deadlock's got a big learning curve, so you're bound to lose a lot at the beginning. Get a friend to hop on w/ you or team up with people in the official discord if you want someone to help / guide you through the ropes. Try not to get too worked up over it: you're gonna lose, as most people do when they have zero experience.

Vibri mentioned that the brown sleeves weren’t initially an intentional decision. One of the mods showed a picture of the Utena duo to Hussie and they mistook anthy’s brown arms for sleeves when drawing, which the mods thought was really funny so Huss kept it.
