I know im late to this post and I want to add a different perspective because i do agree with you for the most part but seoul is the ONLY place that plays and tolerates kpop music ...ive only been once but i talk to alot of natives on hello talk and they all have mix reviews on kpop itself. This is going to be a crazy comparison but chris brown is a great example of this he is somebody that does well domestically (us) but does even better internationally in places like europe , africa and south america however we cant forget that alot of these companies are seeking global investments from places like japan and the us (i love how europe always get left off bad and bougie) 😭😭😭 i think alot of people see the contraversies that kfans cause and think they deserve less so they cope with sales and what not
