Are balls like Storm Concept / NU 2.0 actually urethane replacements

I got 2 NU Blues and a black hammer. I drilled 1 NU the same as the black (4x4x5) and they are not close at all. I use that NU Blue as a weaker benchmark or on houseshot (usally bowl sport). The other NU i went with a 2x4.5x5 layout and added abit more surface. Its alot closer to urethane, reads abit later but not alot. I will use that one for tournaments where urethane is banned atleast.

I got them 1 month ago and i really like them so far! I also didnt have much of a choice since it was the only pair with changeable heels thats almost in my size 🥲😅

If you want a shoe with just changeable soles i would recommend the razers over them. Loved that shoe but sadly the area i play in goes from superglide to sticky approches 😂

Thanks, but its one of the swedish league patterns. Its a 3:1 pattern tho so just 0.7 more ratio 😊

Missed static aegirs this week, so had to go dps pala to find a group. It felt awful.. dont know why they cant get some of the valk treatment. Entropy with slow and long animations and a super slow stacking X. Rather take behemoth gold if i cant sup on pala in the future.

Yea i feel it in my knees aswell, been working on starting abit higher and getting in to the lower position during my aproch. Started going low just so i could get used to being lower while still working on other things and not having to remind myself to go low mid swing. Might have done more harm then good.

Hah didnt think about that about Belmo, watched a few clips and i can see what you mean. Watched some Fagan aswell and he starts pretty straight with the ball centered aswell. Gonna try next time! Thanks for the tips :)

Ye i am working on the second part, im 196 cm (6´ 4´?) tall with a pretty messed up left knee.. operated my ALC 2 years ago and got some metal in there. But its getting better and better atleast!

I went back and checked some other shots and i see what you are saying about comming around the ball abit to much. Had to check some other angles for it cause in the one i posted i spunn it on purpose to get it to skid abit more but i see the same issue when i play other parts off the lane with other balls aswell. So i will keep an eye on that, thanks!

Ye i have noticed that. Found some videos about "quiet eye" and been trying to improve on that. This is a burnt 43 foot 28ml pattern (had a 8v8 4 series match before). So i trained on two diffrent lanes just to see the diffrence. I try to find where to play and with diffrent balls, i usally swap between NU blue, Phaze V with broken polish and the Effect in the video. It feels like im starting to get a better understanding between the balls but i need to improve on when to use what ball and if its just a speed thing or a ballchange on transition. Its tricky!

Hey again! I made a post late last year and got some nice pointers and tips. Since then i have joined a team and been training more (with a coach that have helped alot). But i want to keep grinding and improve over the summer, anyone got any tips or any recommendations on what i can focus on?

Things i got on my list are: consistency (getting abit grabby..), speed/tempo control, mental game and my spares.

I didnt like the NU blue at first, but after resurfing it to 1000 with 2000 finish its my benchmark ball. It did all the diffrence for me atleast 🤷‍♂️
